Was it a grounding issue? I had this on my 22 refresh. Took them some time to figure it out but they cleaned the connectors and secured them properly and they’ve been working fine ever since.

I thought the brake/no brake MCU-only selectivity thing didn’t matter for reset anymore, as long as you were doing it while in Park. No idea about wheel size changes.

I had this happen. Did the old basic reboot. Then it started lowering correctly.

Keep in mind state lemon laws supersede arbitration agreements. Here in GA if your vehicle is out of service for more than 30 cumulative days it’s considered a lemon and must be bought back or replaced by the manufacture. Most states have something similar.

Thanks, that makes sense. I was hoping for some real-world utility like a tighter turning radius when parking, U-turns, etc. Might be something we get with a software update in the future.

Which state are you in? I’ve been having a lot of luck with Flexcar but they’re only available in certain areas. Week-to-week rentals, $80 and up per week depending on car plus $0.40/mile. It’s practical as long as you don’t need to drive too much.

I definitely bought multiple cars in California when I was a Nevada resident and had no issues registering them in Nevada use tax free after paying California sales tax. VIN inspection and bill of sale showing taxes paid was the extent of the process.

I looked into this. You’d have to pay for the full CA sales tax for Alameda County CA and then when you brought it back to Georgia you’d pay another 6% in ad valorem taxes. Good stuff.

The working theory is that Tesla has a predictive algorithm that tries to forecast when a user’s car will actually become available while they’re waiting for a VIN allocation. It works okay for normal times but obviously the last two years have been pretty far from normal. They’ve kept it off...

Heed the wisdom of @Stro. If you don’t have a VIN, your month/range/whatever fiction listed as EDD is precisely that, fiction. I’ve had dates and ranges added and removed at least 4 times over the past 2 weeks. I am currently back to March and I give it no weight until I see a VIN listed.
