I removed the delivery hold from My car 2 days ago. yesterday was showing July 17- August 5th delivery date. Today it updated to September. Remove those delivery holds and get in line. looks like its going to be a longggggggg wait.

I am more afraid to lift the hold now since they increased the price again. If I do get assigned with a VIN prior to the incentive, I would have to go on another hold.... that will be my final hold at that point...

the SA made it June 27th. she stated that I get up to 3 VIN matches(they will match me with a car upto 3 times. so If I left the hold early and get another car prior to June 30th, I can cancel it again), if I refuse the 3rd VIN the order is cancelled.

When I check on the status of my tesla I now get the confirm your order update window. I am not going to accept till July 1st. hopefully this is kind of like an unofficial hold so I dont lose my spot in line.

I didnt see the end of qtr statement. I did read that they will hold your car for 3 days (not a week) from when you are notified.

The SA have no idea what it will be based on (order date or delivery date) since the program isn't even finalized. I personally believe delivery date, it just makes more sense. order date isn't the day I actually bought the car...and selfishly it would benefit me since I have the Y on order...

I think our best approach will be to ask them not to focus on the price and instead lower the $ to mile payout. instead of giving $25 per electric mile, reduce that to $15 per mile. the whole point of this program is to reduce emissions... this will incentivize most people to buy a car that...

unfortunately I ordered my car after the last price increase. but you are correct, if we have to cancel the order and create a new one, I would presume that we will be paying whatever price the car is selling for at that time. :( hopefully they dont increase the price from now till then.
