I actually went ahead and relaced the RF brake controller with a Prodigy P3. However, this looks promising: Tesla stopped supplying 12V power to the aux pin of the 7 way - Fixed!!!

I had the same problem with the car not accepting my password. I was running 802.11 N with WPA2-PSK security mode along with AES encryption. To resolve the issue I just changed to using 802.11 B/G/N wireless mode. No other settings were changed. Btw, I use a EnGenius ECB350 AP/Bridge.

I have AAA and just sold one of our cars (2004 CLK500) to make room for my new MS. They quoted me a annual rate increase of around $525. Seems about right considering the price of the car.
