So after letting my rep have it this week the installer came out to do a site survey for materials/dumpster. He was super apologetic, and said he had nothing to do with the increase. But will be moving forward with my install date in 2 weeks. Not sure what if anything that means, But I'm optimistic!

Interesting... are your gutters included? I've seen it both ways, but mine they told me to get an external quote...

Same here, Virginia's accepted my complaint and snail-mailed a letter to Tesla... Though my Rep was uninterested when I told her the AG was involved as she tried to extort the $10k difference (post 'free power wall' conversation)...

I've been trying, espeically for the Tesla Fans. But I even got a few Tesla Fans on Twitter tell me "I don't believe you". Super insane...

Hell ya. I told them nope. I expect them to excecute install as agreed. T-3 weeks. But if they wanted to give me 2 Powerwalls free. (Original price) I’d take that. And that his boss or Elon could call me directly.

Did anyone just get a call from Tesla offering them a free PowerWall? I said no and I wanted the old agreement, since it would still be about $10k bump... Think our push back may be working!

This is where we really need to community to come together. Sadly lots of push back on Facebook... Tesla Fans saying "oh well,""that sucks," even "well the prices were too low anyway." Hope that changes as it gets out!

Yeah my install date is in 3 weeks... up $20k and was told last week it wouldn’t go up. I’m giving Elon and Tesla until the end of the week hopefully the forums, emails and tweets will help them rectify this.

Just signed up because I had this hit too. Order placed late 2020, signed 1/21/21. Permits, inspection, etc complete. Even had an install date for the 12th... went from $42k to $65k. Also got told last week it was locked, we had contract etc. no increase. Guess that changed Saturday... even...
