I purchased a set of gloss black Inductions from someone else and they did not come with center caps. I bought some off eBay and planned on spray painting them gloss black, but I think it looks fine as is.

I waited for my CA legacy plates to arrive before putting the Etsy emblem covers on and plasti-dipping the DUAL MOTOR badge (I was going to remove the DM altogether but wanted to see how plasti looked first). Why didn't I just plasti-dip the emblems too? Eh, it's a long boring story...

Has anyone recently ordered a sequential non-personalized CA legacy (black and yellow) plate? The DMV site says 4-6 weeks but I'm curious how accurate that is these days. I have a count-up timer on my phone reminding me I'm on week 5 of waiting. Hopefully it's another week away.

Only one passenger of mine figured out the door (inside or outside) on the first try. Luckily I don’t think anyone has pulled the emergency lever. They just press the button with their index finger and expect it to swing open or something.

Got new shoes! I sold the Geminis and picked up some Inductions that were powder coated gloss black. They didn't come with the center caps so I had to buy those separately. I had every intention of spray painting the center caps gloss black to match, but eh, I'm OK with the look.

As others said, it just becomes an add-on tax if you get pulled over for something else. I haven’t had a front plate in 10+ years. That said, I got a front mount and will put mine on as soon as my specialty plates come in. That 12”x6” rectangle on my bumper will be protected from rock chips. 😁

I also ordered TPMS through Tire Rack and they’re waiting for me at Firestone. They will be mounting new tires on some Inductions I picked up. The guy I spoke to on the phone was concerned that the TPMS wouldn’t work with their software but they are auto detected by the car right?
