Wow, that's way over the 4 mph that I've seen most people posting, as well as what the Tesla shop advertises. Do you have a newer model MY? Could the charging be more efficient on newer models?

I'm curious, if you are leaving for a year, why would you want to buy a car that will sit around for a year? Unless you are taking the car with you, in which case maybe order to pick up where you will be at for the next year?

Ordered MY LR (MSM, Induction, black interior, no FSD) on June 8th. Got my VIN August 20. Delivery shows Sep 4-6. Anyone's guess what the actual delivery date will be, but overall looks like it will take 3 months, which was just a smidge over the high end of the 8-13 week estimate when I ordered.

I did some digging since I posted the original post and I find this a bit strange. A PoA should be valid if it meets the state's requirements. I don't think Tesla can force you to use one of theirs, much less have it notarized at a DMV and for a Tesla employee to be a witness on the form.

That's mine too. Haven't taken delivery of mine yet, but the interactions with the folks there have been great. My SA is super responsive and helps as much as she can (understanding that some things are just out of her hands).

If it's any consolation, my current dates are Aug 21 - Sep 8. No FSD on mine. I'm in no hurry, since I won't be back before Aug 29, but hope you got delivery of yours, at least!

I recently came across this product. You plug it in to two regular 120V 5-15 outlets and it converts to 220V outlet (basically the equivalent of a 6-15). Has anyone used this and did it affect anything in your home?
