Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Just got 20% on my white on white M3...kind of regretting it it looks too dark so 1) you can hardly see the white seats from the outside which kind of defeats part of the purpose of getting white seats, 2) it steals the show from the black window trim and uberturbine black wheels which looked...
not loving the red strip but like the black body kit...also I think it would look better with different wheels...love my uberturbines...you could get tsportline 19inch uberturbines reasonably priced
yeh not of any significant difference in distance...takes just as long/as much effort to divert your eyes to what you want to see, and either way you have almost no peripheral vision of the road so the guage cluster really is redundant...the model S and X shouldn't have guages...they should all...
Imo guages don't really solve anything...with guages you need to take your eyes off the road to look down anyways...in teslas you have to look down and right...its pretty much the same motion and either way you take your eyes off the road. What they need imo are heads up displays...especially...
Yup same exact thing here...lights up for a few seconds then dead...spoke to Tesla who gave me a sort of a generic "the new software may not play well with aftermarket accessories" line. I'm just hoping they reverse this in future updates so I'm going to keep it connected...if not there goes HUD...
Updated to 2021.4.18. I have one of those heads up displays that connects to the OBD2 port under the center console in the back (I know most people think its ugly...I do too but it is what it is). It has suddenly stopped working. Does anyone know if the software update rendered any accessory...
Prices for all cars are going up nationwide and maybe even globally. There is a sever global chip shortage for autos leading to supply issues while demand is very high...if you go to any dealership right now you'll see no incentives and prices substantially higher than just a few months ago. And...
Hey so I have the sliding tray and it definitely slides forward on even medium braking and slides back into place on medium acceleration...what are these ideas to prevent it from sliding so easily you speak of!?!? I need them!
So I have a 2021 model 3 performance and my parents have a 2020 model 3 LR with AB:
1) In terms of the speed difference I agree - rarely if ever will you notice a speed difference...its pretty much from 0-20 or 30mph where the M3P is faster and does feel faster...anything after that its the...
Maybe its me and I've gotten used to it, or maybe they actually did something at my service appointment (they said they didn't do anything), but the sound and vibration of the heat pump and how often/how long it comes on seems to have all gone way down from what I noticed the first few days of...
I'm about 4 weeks into owning the new M3P...it was annoying at first...then I slowly got used to it and now the noise doesn't bother me and my ears have kind of tuned it out...its definitely not what you want for a 50K car and I'm not saying its forgiveable...but I wouldnt get an earlier model...
Hey - since you went 30% on the sides with the white interior, do you see a reflection of the white dashboard on your side mirrors? Thats my fear doing the front sides too dark.
Since you have a pretty dark tint and the white interior, do you see the white dashboard reflection on your side view mirrors? Thats what I'm most afraid of when tinting the front side windows. I want to go ~30% but afraid of that reflection.
Hmm ok your issue seems less pronounced than mine so consider youself a bit lucky...fan is probably just cooling things down after some intense acceleration like you said...I definitely have more than a fan whooshing...as expected picked up my car today from Tesla Service and they said the heat...
Same issue here on 2021 M3P from Freemont...usually happens right after I accelerate hard then stop for a traffic light or something...its definitely coming from the front and almost definitely the heat pump activating. Gave my car in for servicing this morning for some delivery day issues and I...
Lots of youtube videos of the side paint being scratched up if you remove the flaps and look...if you're never going to take them off I guess it doesn't matter
Really don't like the red handles and red T like most of the people here...but you do you man...you have to like it. Also don't like the white mudflaps...would go black.
Actually love the way the 2021 M3P comes out of the factory...love the black trim + handles, the uberturbine wheels look...
No dots on the right side, but regen side may have had a few good point...I think the battery was warmed up enough...it was about 38-42 degrees faranheit outside. Maybe those conditions slow it down a tad...still expected < 3.6 at least. I could definitely be overthinking this...could be in my...
Just took delivery of a new 2021 Model 3 Performance...it might just be me but it feels a bit sluggish. Wondering if anyone else who has taken delivery of a relatively new 2021 M3P feels the same?...please see some factors below:
- Sport mode driving + red line under car name + obstacle aware...
