You are right to be wary, I took mine somewhere local and asked them to be careful as it had only been on the road 2 days, and ended up with a huge greasy handprint on the headliner. Didn't notice till I got home, but luckily I cleaned it up without a problem. Won't be getting my business...

I am enlisting the help of my co-workers here in the Natick store, they will be driving south Sunday and will hopefully remember to take Flat Stanley with them and get a snap at whichever supercharger they stop at. OK add me to the 'flashed' list. I assumed it was because the Tesla lights are more powerful (WAY more powerful than the headlights on my old ICE) - I can actually see where I'm going at night now! But I don't want to be blinding oncoming traffic......

I second the heated steering wheel. Sometimes I've just used the heated seats and kept the heating off to preserve range, and its been quite fine, apart from the frozen hands!

No pics unfortunately, but I got passed by a Tesla Service Truck on the Mass Pike this Christmas morning in the Worcester area and we waved to each other. My first sighting of one of those out in the wild. I caught up with them again later and roared past them and we all waved again :-) None...

Ouch David, so sorry that happened to you. Why do people just fling their doors open without any regard for moving traffic or cars parked next to them? Drives me crazy. I recognize that street, I'm usually traveling down it in the other direction.

I used Autonation, and was satisfied with the price they offered. True I could have got maybe 3-4K more by selling privately but I did not want the hassle. I also got quotes from various dealers and they all offered me 1K less than Autonation.

Jason @ Seajays in Billerica did my car this Saturday (Opti coat Pro), looks great! I just got back from a journey down the Pike/I84, and its quite noticeable just how much LESS DUST & GRIME has stuck to the paintwork this time!

I've only had my car a month, but so far no issues at all, and I wear jeans all the time. I've been wearing new jeans too, and no dye transfer :smile: I love the grey interior.

Sun 27th? Depending on the time and place I will try to be there - I have to do a 130 mile journey later that evening. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what develops!
