I can't simply because I don't know what exactly happens. I was told by the Tech at Tesla in L.A. that some customers were having this problem with the MC120 after the GFCI tripped.
I just had the firmware 3.3.1 update to address the MC120 GFCI tripping issue and rapid discharging. It still trips. I don't know about the rapid discharging problem since I check on the car everyday that I'm not driving it.
I've discussed the issue with the MC120 with a Tesla rep. last week. They are well aware of the issue. They also updated my Firmware to 3.3.1 which was supposed to prevent rapid discharge of the battery if the GFI tripped. Still having problems with the GFI. I'm having my electrician come...
