A bit boring, but my family and I just drove from Philly suburbs to Orlando, FL. We counted how many Tesla’s we saw and would keep track of the models on the sketch pad on the touchscreen of the car. We saw a total of 71 teslas, excluding when it became dark and could not tell what cars were which.

Every company has terms, but it is simply software that can be uninstalled, they should shift delivery date back instead of charging the customer more money, if they see they are trying to play the system, delay their delivery.

So if you add FSD to an existing order, then remove it at delivery, your entire order price shifts to current prices? If that’s how it is that’s pretty messed up, wonder if SA could get you around it.

I know right, honestly think it was someone who may have canceled their order and I got lucky for once. Will not believe it until I am sitting in the car though!

Thanks! Just added it :), never really looked into how to do it. Yes, I think with all of the price increases happening lately, fewer people will be ordering, so hopefully, this lessens Tesla's demand issue and moves up some prior orders. And yes, 12 months waiting is quite a long time...

@PNWLeccy yes, I got assigned a VIN around March 4th, and have a delivery appointment this Saturday. Hoping everything follows through... Hopefully, everyone else sees EDD shift once GigaTexas gets up and running.

Sure thing! When I made my appointment, it took them about 2 days. I honestly think it depends on the service center though. I'm sure some are busier than others.

If there are no signs of damage such as scratches and tears to the surrounding area, my guess is that Tesla may cover it under a basic vehicle warranty. My vehicle had scratched rocker panels shortly after delivery (they had to be there before because I hardly drove before noticing) and Tesla...
