I've gone directly through Tesla and echo your thoughts, they have been absolutely brilliant with me. The only time I have had to contact them was just me being impatient/over-excited and seeing if I had a China Vin assigned.

Just out of curiosity, say they were flat spotted from transporting. If you got the balancing checked while they had flatspots, then wouldn't they show as out of balance. If you then had them balanced they would improve instantly, but get worse over time as the flat spot goes and the tyre...

This is the exact reason I went for the LR over the performance, I wanted a tow hitch and my roads are better suited to the 18's, the performance wheels would last a few days before they would be destroyed.

Why don't you reduce the initial payment and keep the money in your own account, or as I am doing in stocks. The figures workout to be the same total whichever way you do it, so you may as well have the money in your account making you money. That way you can take a bit from that £15k each month...
