Im in California and my friends already got the map update. It doesn't come with the typical software update. Apparently it'll download in the background near a wifi location.

With the Model S/X refreshed getting rid of the Intel-based CPU, when do you expect the 3/Y to get the new AMD chips with NAVI23?

I'm hearing mixed reports saying that it's an Intel Atom (same as MCU2) + Dedicated AMD GPU. Or an AMD APU? A person said that they need an Intel CPU for the MCU because they need an automotive chipset, they also need efuses etc which don't exist on AMD boards.

Should I wait for HW4, MCU3, and 4680? I think they are all coming out Q4 2021 according to Eletrek. HW4 should be out when the cybertruck is out. HW4 was announced 2 years ago. MCU3 might be needed for the bigger screen on Cybertruck.
