I have the Continental Pure Contact LS in 245/40-19. Highly recommend this tire. It's very quiet...almost as quiet as the stock 18 Michelin MXM tires. What you do notice, however, is the pinging sounds because there is no foam insulation in the tire, but it's quit subtle and not annoying at all.

I would get your money back and go to a different installer. The film should be wrapped around the edges of the hood, and it will also be wrapped on the front fenders and bumper on those sides that meet the hood area. When the job is done properly you can barely tell there is any film on the car.

Danny - is Forggiato ever going to come out with a 19" of this wheel? I really want a very nice looking Aero wheel for the Model 3 and there are just incredibly few choices on the market that look half decent. Quite strange actually given the exploding volumes of EVs.

Went from a 2015 Golf R with a good amount of mods including Stage 1 tune to LR M3. Loving it so far.

They are +30 offset. I was really close to getting the 18" as well because the design of this wheel makes it look larger than it actually is. It's an amazing value wheel with the right looks, offset and load rating and it really complements the Tesla M3. Good luck with sale!!

My hood is way off from the factory and its not a matter at all of adjusting the front hood bumper thingies. But, I'm just too scared to have an SC touch it for the fear they will screw it up even more, so I've just learned to live with it as a "quirk" of the Tesla ownership experience. LOL.

Ah got it. Yes, that’s exactly right. Wider tire, different tire, more offset and no aero wheel all add up in a big way. On some brief highway runs I think the efficiency loss is easily 15%. It’s pretty serious. Looking good comes with a little pain!

The stock wheels without the aero covers look really good, but moving to a 19 inch wheel and pushing it out just 10mm makes a big difference in looks...at least to me. Cheers!

Here ya go. Not the best pics. The front is quite good. The back of course could come out another 10mm, but that’s not what I was going for. Just wanted a simple setup with a wheel that looked better than the stock 18s.

König Ampliform 19x8.5 +30 Continental Pure Contact LS 245/40-19 Stock suspension Very conservative fitment but so far I can see already about a 10% or more range impact.

I just put on Conti Pure Contact LS in 245/40-19 on a new wheel that has 10 mm more offset (pokes out 10 mm further). These are Eco rated tires with a 700 treadwear and so far I've seen at least a 10-12% drop in efficiency versus the 18" Aero wheels with covers. It's about 40-45 degrees here...

Also, why the hell did they make the Font smaller for the Speed? I like how they move it up and closer the left edge of the screen, but why did they have to make it smaller Font? Argghh. I'll get use to it i'm sure.

I’ve got the exact same issue on my 2021 M3 LR. It started 4 months after I purchased the car and it does it every time: two beeps when the trunk reaches its high point. Resetting the trunk travel does nothing. I’d be very interested if replacing the trunk strut fixes this as mine if only 4...

I get this message regularly in weather below 40 degrees, and that's what I've immediately come to understand about it. I do a lot of short trips in the cold of around 5-6 miles and it comes up a lot....the battery just can never get warm enough on such a short trip.

Are you guys running the normal Michelin PS4s or the Tesla specific Michelin version (the one supposedly with the foam inside)? I've heard the Tesla specific PS4s only come in the 18 and 20 spec sizes. How is the noise of the PS4s at "normal" pressures?

This is exactly why I won’t have Tesla mess with the hood on my 2021 M3. It’s quite off from the factory but I’m just terrified they will mess it up even more. So I learn to live with it. When the Germans have a good EV for around $65k I’ll just buy one of those.

This is a 1 month old 2021 Model 3. Never noticed this before but the trim on my back left quarter window was mounted completely incorrectly at the factory. The top of the black window trim as photographed should be flush with the metal body, but no. It’s mounted about 1/16 of inch too high...
