Looking at the used market (at the current times) if you have an MS with low miles the year doesn't seem to make a difference resale-wise. I took delivery of a 2021 LR two weeks ago and reserved it for 82k in January. Same build today is 98.5...I don't see how you can go wrong...enjoy the car.

They hit me with the firmware deal earlier this week too. I got to see the car and run through the checklist at least, but they need to get this firmware addressed quickly. They never mentioned a cable or anything and by all looks of the car inside out it looks ready to go..was detailed and all.

There is a software issue impacting MS deliveries. I had a delivery scheduled for 11/17 and it was delayed. I drove to the service center and asked to see the car and they obliged. Took care of some of the checklist activities and then received an updated that I could pick up the car on 11/19...

Seven days later I received the scheduled delivery text and email. I set it for 11/20 and I'm working with my car shop to schedule wheels, full ceramic, PFF, etc...this has been a long time coming!

That's where I'm at with my 2021 VIN. Not to mention the fact that the car brand new is 15k more today than what I am locked in for makes it a win. I've never purchased a car that appreciated off the lot.

My EDD moved from 10/24 - 11/7 on 10/23. The new EDD has been 11/7 - 11/17 since then. I'm not holding my breath and I'm still driving my kids' cars. Luckily one of them is in boarding school.

Strange that it is 2x as much. I had a single Tesla connector installed and it was a homerun from my basement to garage. They added an electrical box breaker there so that when I'm ready for an additional EV I can run it from the box in the garage instead of paying for another homerun.

We got a new Escalade a few months ago and it has the camera display on the rearview mirror while driving. Seemed like a silly feature until we moved packed some things in the truck for my sister-in-law from Lowes. We quickly saw it was a great feature when the back window is completely obstructed.

I thought about hit for a hot minute, but that damn near 50% increase is almost insulting for me to get the biggest perk of 0-60 in less than 2 seconds. Personally, living in New Jersey that might damn near be dangerous :-). I am a YOLO guy and if it were a 20k increase I would likely go for it...

Considering the Plaid is about 40k more than the model with the 2k discount and FSD...yeah 8k sounds about right for an equivalent discount.
