I would just ask for a new touch screen. Mine had issues (Dec. 2021 release) and they replaced my touch screen under warranty and it was great. Took them only a day and no issues since then. Best, -Chris

Why should EV owners pay more taxes... that's nuts. Let's tax ICEs first then talk about EVs. The point is to get majority of us to EVs first... you don't want to slow adoption down.

I charge to 90% (on my home 240 v outlet) every day from whatever level of driving I do for the day and have zero battery degradation (two months in- knock on wood).

So I just did my first full month with my Tesla here in SF, CA and my usage was $28 for 170 KWh, when I charge it between 12 AM - 3 PM with rates at $0.17 KWh. That's pretty good IMHO.

Ok, just got my car back yesterday and they replaced the screen since I had 6 crashes in under a month. So far so good (knocking on wood no more issues), the screen sometimes takes 2-3 seconds to wake-up it turns on, but I find that acceptable. Keep us posted on how your issues go, sounds like...

I have had 5 crashed in under a month... and on several occasions after hit the steering wheel toggles for 10 seconds, it did not restart and then magically restarted when I plugged in... how odd.

I have exact sample problem twice, since I got my car (M3 SR+ 2021) on 12/20/2020.

It's only happened to me twice with my Model 3 SR+ 2021 in the last month or so. Once I get into the car, the screen is completely back. I do a hard reset with the two toggle buttons on the steering wheel, but is anyone else having issues? I'm gonna have this looked into at SC upcoming later...

When did you order? I'm in San Francisco and can give you some scoop on how they produce.

Make sure to inspect the car in broad daylight (I did this) and do it within the first few days. Then they'll cover any issues you might have.

Mine had these two and the SC told me it's in spec for the car.

I agree with the other commenters here. Other than some minor things (nic on the dashboard, small paint chip, in spec panel gaps), the car has been amazing. I documented everything with a service rep and they said everything is covered under warranty. I don't think it's anything to be concerned...

You can go online and see videos of this the interior floor mats and truck floor mats are the same between the 2020 and 2021 models. However, the frunk is smaller on the 2021 model due to the added heat pump. Hope that helps in your decision making.

Ok, it's all official now. I got my VIN number on Thursday (12/18) and Friday (12/19) I got my delivery text. I got my delivery set for 12/20a at 8 AM and they are delivering to my house. I configured the car on 11/16.

Yes, the turnaround time was nuts and they gave me limited windows to pickup the car. Basically, it was this weekend at a certain hour, since they are delivering to my house.

Order on 11/16, Deep Blue Metallic/Black/19 Sport SR+. Got my VIN listed today on the website: 12/17. Delivery now says between 12/18-12/21. This is the most narrow window I've had so far.

@mond81- interesting you say that. I ordered on 11/16 Navy/black/Sport and it went from saying 12/21-31 to saying 5-7 weeks from order date place. Maybe white is easier to produce (due to painting process), so that's why yours is same time frame as mine despite ordering later. Also interestingly...
