I just noticed that you're going UK to Italy; so you should talk to Tesla about whether you need to get a different connector for your charging cable to connect into the house electric supply. You should be OK for the Tesla destination chargers / high powered wall chargers and Superchargers.

You may need an extension cord. Alternately, look for nearby hotels that have Tesla high-powered wall chargers / destination chargers. The upper-end hotels are likely spots. Some hotels will let you come charge for free; others, if you dine there; others, if you stay overnight. Alan

Are there a lot of Teslas around Houston? Maybe they are humdrum ordinary now, as in parts of CA. Here in Maryland/DC, there are a TON of 3s on the street but both our S and our 3 still get attention. And whenever we have house parties, there are people who want test drives. :-) Alan
