Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

That will be north side then (and in my case, as I usually join the M3 shortly after this, it is Northbound!). Impressed that the one location suggestion I made on Tesla's site seems to have resulted in a planning application only a few weeks later!! (Though of course, its a no-brainer to...

Anyone heard of Jedlix? Anybody signed up?

Their site says it works with Agile. I’m going there too in Jan (also with Ohme charger). Tried it for last night charge (currently on flat rate); no credit showing, yet, though.

Got crashed into whilst stationary - Advice

Nah, that’s just random fishing. I get those calls from time to time, where there has been no accident (touching wood!). Doesn’t everyone? Standard response, ‘goodbye’.

    2021 M3LR Range only 330

I have filled my one week old M3LR to 100% twice now for longer trips. It maxed out at a forecast range of 330 miles as you predicted; I too wondered why it doesn’t at least start from the claimed EPA max range; yes, we know it won’t actually do it in the real world. I was encouraged though that...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

A contractor (based in Watford), with a flatbed; he was only doing mine on Friday, but sometimes has another on a trailer too, and sometimes does more than one trip from Chertsey. One it’s collected, you get a text with ETA and tracking details so you can follow his progress, and he also calls...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Bit frustrating, that Glovis Crystal bobbed in the mid Atlantic for 3 days killing time for some reason - will be the reason that those due aroudn 12-16th are delayed by at least 3 days. Perhaps they had technical issues out there. Time is money to those guys, seems odd.

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

On a flatbed. Here is mine arriving yesterday, having been collected from Chertsey. With number plates different from those that I had been advised! So rang insurer, and changed that. Three hours later, Tesla guy rings and says, he had just seen the delivery pics (taken by the flatbed...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

My M3LR delivered to me at home yesterday - with (inevitably) a non working left camera. Mentioned to the Tesla guy who phoned me to check in after delivery, he advised that apparently the cameras are all good, but the wiring to/from them is too short - so its simply not plugged in!!! I guess...

    Insurance New Vehicle [2020 Megathread]

LV were about £300 more than DL for me; and Churchill about £120 less than DL. On the phone, reduced still further when confirmed it has the autopilot that is standard...

Delivery day - Collection or Home Delivery ?

My allocation was originally for one aboard Glovis Crystal and was invited to get myself somehow to Thorpe Park (something like 1.5 - 2 hours drive from here on a good day) on 15th Dec to collect it. No way am I willing to go in a taxi in these COVID times (which would cost north of £200...

Did supercharger network influence your buying decision

Absolutely a deciding factor for me, along with the more acceptable range of the M3LR, accepting that a significant percentage has to be deducted from the claimed 360 mile max, for the real world esp on motorways in winter etc. Not yet got the car (due on 4th - can't wait!) but the SC network...

    2020 Shipping Movements

Mr M, just wondered, after the car transport ships from San Fransisco offload their Tesla cargoes at Zebrugge, Amsterdam, & Southampton etc, - what do they do then? Do they load Nissan Jukes & Qasqais, Minis, JLR vehicles etc, and take them back to California? Do they arrive at SFO with cargo...

What would/will you pay for heated steering wheel?

Well, i think I paid Land Rover £50 to have that fitted on my Disco Sport when I ordered it. And would miss it. So if needs be, I’d pay £50 again as a one off.

    2020 Shipping Movements

I reckon Glovis Crystal’s navigator must be using Navionics on an ipad just like me! (It doesn’t do great circle routing - which for the sorts of passages I do across the Channel, is hardly relevant!)

    2020 Shipping Movements

clearly I arranged this with the skipper! (Actually, I went for the rhumb line as I couldn’t be bothered to calculate the great circle accurately, and guessed that many others would have already landed in the general area. So a lucky guess that the Skipper just might choose a rhumb line course...)

How to fight this? Suffering excessive stone chips

sorry, a bit confused - you got chips/paint peeling on the replacement part for 2 weeks, and then, with nothing changing, nothing further? Or did you mean that you got chips/peeling for the first two weeks, had the part replaced, and you'd had no issues on the replaced part from the time it was...
