I have not paid much attention to the changes in EDD on our 5 seat, blue/black, 19", no hitch/FSD MYLR. I figured with all of the recent date slippage ours would slip soon, but we got a VIN and a one week EDD window of 12/5-12/11 today. Ordered on 8/5.

Unfortunately, the sequence of photos in this thread appear to show otherwise. The pedestals were installed on concrete bases (at least) and in the latest photo the pedestals and bases are gone.

The Chamberlain mentioned above from Home Depot has worked well for me also. The Chamberlain replaced an Overhead Door opener that was installed in 2014 and did not work well at all with the Model S.

Having both a Volt and a Model S, I can say without reservation that the Model S brakes feel and perform much better than the Volt brakes. The Volt brakes at low speed are overly sensitive. I like the simplicity of the Tesla system as well as the much stronger regeneration.

I mentioned this in the upgrade scheduling thread. Mine was upgraded on March 10th and they setup an appointment for last week to update the bolts. The actual work was completed in about 1/2 day, but with them picking up and dropping off the car it took most of a day.

Mine was completed February 10th.

My service center (KC) scheduled a follow-up appointment for my upgrade because "Tesla sent some updated bolts for the front fuse" that they wanted installed. Anyone else run into this? They are doing the work today.

I brought my car in on Tuesday at 8am and got a text that it was done the same day at 4pm (including doing the LTE upgrade). If I had been in town and lived close enough that they didn't need to charge it much I believe I could have taken it the same day.

The service department guy sent me a text tonight saying that my car was pulling 1511 amps under acceleration. I'm traveling, so can't look it up right now, I thought the upgrade was to 1400 amps (or was it 1600?).

Got a text that my car's upgrade was completed yesterday afternoon. They even got the LTE upgrade completed that I wanted done while it was in. I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow since I'm travelling and won't be able to experience the full improvement right away since the snow tires...

I wound up selling the Roadster and getting a MS P85D last spring. I was not really in need of an upgraded battery on the Roadster since the battery was still in good shape.

They said they had problems with the track and with traction control (no details provided). I also noticed that the driver display showed only 70 miles range left while they were filming the inside shot at the track. Not the best way to get a good run.

Great! Sounds like 3M have improved their offering. Restating my original post more generically: not all paint protection film is the same and neither are the shops that put it on. Research both the film offered and the shop's reputation, and don't just go in to the closest window tinting shop...

I would not assume that all paint protection films are equal. 3M makes some great products, but from the research I've done their paint protection films don't seem to stack up against the competition very well. I've used Suntek, Xpel and Nanofusion on past cars with good results.

No sound reduction package done on the chassis, but it does have the fiber front wheel wells.
