I've also had an aquaplane moment, the car as yours just turned off TACC and Steer and then I treated it as the usual, avoid steering and pedals until grip came back. At least being the LR the AWD helped get grip earlier. That was on a back road so I didn't have other cars/trucks to worry about...

This happened to mine when they dropped it off the trailer at home. It was repaired by the service centre when I had some other issues resolved. I would ask them to fix it. Especially if leasing as it may become an issue on the 'wear and tear' at the end.

Bit further into this. It may be signal related, but never had an issue before. What I have found is that when I plug the car in it starts charging. If I then go into the car and set a schedule charge, the ohme charger decides to then be smart again.

Not sure why but the Ohme charger seems to have decided to no longer use my schedules and is no longer activating Smart Charging. Instead it is just a dumb charger. Wondered if anyone else has this as it may be an app issue or how they fixed it.

Hmm.. Thanks for the responses, maybe its a different card. A faraday wallet/insert maybe a good idea. It is happening in Sainsburys, and the local garden centre. Not braved many other shops recently. I'll see about rubbing it over to see if that helps.

Went shopping today, and every time I walked into a shop and left a shop I set of the alarms... Seemed my wallet, with the key card in was the culprit. Anyone else found this? Really annoying being stared at each time I leave a store!

I wonder if part of the problem is that ICE cars show MPG and EVs do range on a 'tank'. If ICE cars were advertised at doing 500 miles on a tank, and you got 400 in winter you would probably get similar arguments. I expect some (a lot of) people don't even know the size of the tank in their car...

Most reliable car I've had was a Skoda Octavia, which was sold for the Tesla. Over 80k miles and in that time I had 1 fault relating to the starting coils. Was sad to see it go, but moving to a town meant a diesel was a terrible car to have.

I have the M3 LR, and on both the very wet test drive and the drives I've done in the car since I got I have found it very planted with the dual motor. Compare that to my XKR which is rear wheel drive, I try to avoid driving in the wet as it gets sideways very quickly.

So far so good, no issues on drive back, one heavy brake but in fairness the truck did try to join my lane! Now I remember why I wanted the car!

Thank you, that reassures me a bit that there isn't something more to it. With exception to this and the guy scratching it coming off the trailer the build looked really good. Hopefully this is the end of the issues and I get to just enjoy the car!

So, appears the issue is related to steering wheel alignment being outside of tolerance, effectively allowing me to turn the wheel more than I should. As a precaution the car assumes something is wrong and turns all the driver assists off o_O... or so the technician has said to the lass I have...

Can they charge off a supercharger? If so I don't think its unfair for them to use them if there are no standard chargers around.
