I got my VIN about 24 hours after the last date change. I received a text saying my VIN was assigned.

So it apparently takes a few days for them to value a trade in. Delivery window keeps pushing out a day, everyday. Was told that the car is at the delivery center, but not yet sent a pick up invitation.

I had a similar thought, line waiters could override another model 3 at the supercharger stations. It would activate the self driving in the other charging car and move it to another spot. This could be done as you arrive, and when another stall opens the car that moved can just move back.

iOS 11 now makes the blue bar at the top (like the green phone call bar) when a app is using your gps. When using my Waze app for my morning commute, if i do not force close the app the blue bar saying it is using my location will stay there all day. I hope the will give us the option to hide...

I do not think the spot in line would be changing, just a gap in time. This may be done to separate in store line waiters and on line reservations.

I received the confirmation email 3pm on the first.

My reservation was in store.

My concern would be with a 3 year lease, hard to fathom paying for a feature that you may only get 1-2 years with.

My guess is between 25,000 and 50,000 reservations where made in stores world wide. With 92 locations in the US and an avg of 200 per location that is 18,400.
