Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Do you have white or just a fear of white? Have white on our 2018 3 and couldn’t be happier with the seats and how they don’t look dirty…. The black seats on the X? They always look dirty…. Ymmv
Just got the beta on Thursday. It's awesome but you have to pay attention at turns because it is still a beta.
The street code makes the highway code feel like a step back...
YMMV
Whatever you do, don't drop off your kid at high school... I get 101.9 Forward Collision Warnings on those days... Which gives me a score of 69 for that day...
we have two 3s and 4 key cards. i programmed all 4 to both 3s. ymmv. Just checked and all the cards worked on "my" 3.
but mostly we (wife, daughter and I) use our phones.
sounds like a refresh S specific problem... which isn't great but I am sure service can correct for you.
That would be awesome!!! My neighbor has the default UFO sound and that is pretty cool.
When I get a Tesla with Boombox I suspect that will be a major source of fun.
You never mention your home charge solution. It likely needs to be equally robust to what you have a work. UMC maxes at 38 miles an hour I think for a model 3. Wall charger maxes at 44 miles an hour. If I were you I would have a wall charger on a 60A breaker at home and office. YMMV.
We have white on both our 3s with 4 kids and 5 dogs. Bought an X with black seats at the start of the pandemic. I wipe down the X seats every weekend because they always seem dirty. The 3s always seems clean.
never getting black seats again.
ymmv
My rule is, if you ask about getting the Performance then you should get and have no regrets.
I have a 3P and used that rule when deciding.
wife wanted and got an X but she wanted the range.
ymmv
This took several attempts to get right if I remember right and I am fairly certain I repeated the same steps every time but with different results. Keep trying and eventually you will get the right fob to the right profile.
We are blessed with multiple Teslas. But since I am the account owner it appears that my phone gets priority even in my wife’s car. Not good.
Anyone else deal with this? When it was just the two 3s I just deleted her 3 from my Bluetooth settings on my iPhone.
but with the X in the family...
My daughter just got her learner’s permit and we did some driving today. 35 miles in the Model 3. She is getting the hang of driving (not parking). Since the Tesla always shows the speed limit it is easy for her make sure she is under the speed limit.
That got me thinking about a driver's...
