Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I am on 44.5 and still don't have it. Judging by posts, it appears like it's slowly rolling out to certain cars and probably not on by default. It also needs a calibrating period as well once enabled.
Has anyone had any issues with the front dash? It seems like there's a pocket of air so it's not completely flat anymore. It must have lost its adhesiveness. Not sure if this is something they'd be willing or able to fix? Hard to see on the photo but attached
Hey I picked it up today. It went good and I would recommend them! I dropped it off on a Friday and it was ready by Tuesday. They are closed weekends but I did notice them working on it during the weekend with my tesla app notifications.
I only did full frontal PPF and that was 1499 so I can't...
Mobile service dropped off my license frame, floor mats, trunk covers, and parcel shelf today. Might be worth opening a ticket up to see if they'll bring yours if you're missing them. Not sure how well Tesla is keeping track of who is missing theirs and if they will really ship em out or reach...
So they responded back to my service ticket and I have a mobile appointment set up for 9/28 and they listed all the missing parts on the estimate. So it's possible they have them back in now. We'll see for sure that day.
I opened a service ticket so we'll see what they say. I'm not very confident they will know which cars didn't get them and then just send it to us without some prodding. It seemed like some of the more recent deliveries are starting to get them so maybe they'll be back in stock soon.
I believe 2.49 is the floor through Tesla. At the start of the year they were going below that so I tried asking but they told me 2.49 is the best you can do no matter the credit score. I ended up doing a rate match to DCU to get 1.24.
I was able to sit in and check out the car before making my payment through the website. I had an actual person do the delivery appointment and set up the plate and go over the car. I inspected then once I was satisfied, I did the payment via plaid and it was instant.
You could always do your loan via tesla. I got instant approval via chase. You can then switch over to BoA later if you desire if it is approved by delivery or just do a post delivery rate match if BoA is better than what tesla's bank gives you. I ended up rate matching myself.
So is it a sure thing now that if you take delivery anytime soon you'll be missing the trunk cover? What is going to be the procedure for that? They will call us to pick it up once it comes back in stock?
