Just called and changed from home delivery on Thursday to pick up tomorrow. A bit more comfortable for me as I'm not sure where they intended to leave the vehicle in the middle of downtown.

Another update, I was scheduled to pickup at Colma but sounds like they will be delivering it to my house directly now due to low delivery volume.

Just got a text saying that I can expect delivery in 1-3 days. VIN appears in account now. The text also says if I take delivery by Sunday I will receive 1,000 free supercharging miles. I guess the EOQ promo is back.

That would be nice but you're probably aware by now that's not how it works. You will get it by the end of the month and the VIN will be sent when you schedule delivery.

Are you also picking up at Colma? My SA works at the Van Ness center but they setup a pop-up delivery center in Colma for end of quarter deliveries which is where I am expected to take delivery. It seems like California deliveries can move from receiving a text to being picked up in < 24 hours...

Based on what? There is literally 0 difference between placing your order online or at a SC. The SC even encourages people to order to do it at home because you'd just be using the same website.

The "3-5 week from order date" text was removed for seemingly everyone this weekend. I wouldn't read much into it.

You can place the order on hold. No problem. By the way, the same trim policy only applies when returning the vehicle after taking delivery.

My SA did mention something similar that they were "pre production" vehicles and that I was already soft matched with another VIN. Anyway, a moot point as it sounds most people should be receiving their vehicles in the next week or two.

After further investigation, seems like it was the same config but with a white interior. I'd be lying if I didn't consider paying the extra $1k so I can get the car sooner, but will probably just sit tight.

From US Bank directly or through Tesla? Tesla allows you to finance 105% of the car amount. If your loan is through them, you can probably email auto finance ask them to adjust the terms.

Yes my SA told me the same thing. They don't hold the car more than 3 days due to the volume of deliveries. Sounds like they are setting up a new delivery center in Colma, CA for Bay Area deliveries. I was told to expect delivery there.

Just received 2-4 week text. Last text was 4-6 weeks on Aug 19 so things seem to be moving along. NorCal, ordered Aug 12th.

NorCal order placed 8/12, spoke to SA today who advised 3rd week of September is when all models can expect delivery to the area. Not long to go now!

I applied for Tesla financing and it came back with a rate of 2.99%/72months via TD Bank. Emailed AutoFinance and within 5 minutes they bumped it down to 2.49% with Wells Fargo.
