If it's a squeaking type of noise, mine was caused by the two back seats rubbing against each other. I "fixed" that by setting the recline of the two back seats at different levels.

I take mine to the drive through car wash. No cracked roof yet.

I have them in SoCal. Cheap, easy to install, and you'd be surprised how dirty the side of the car gets without them.

Good to know. I live in SoCal and only drive in snow once every couple of years so sliding while parked isn’t something I thought about.

I have the cross bars and also think the car looks better with them. However, keep in mind that it will spoil the great view through the panoramic glass roof. On the other hand, I get a lot of use out of my rack, and you might actually find it useful.

Since I don't need or like stiff, heavy duty all weather mats, I also went for the Autailors and love them. They are perfectly cushioned, the weave is very comfortable underfoot, they are waterproof, dirt and sand do not show because of the weave, and I can just spray them off to clean them...

Someone posted that a lot of the spray in front of the rear wheels actually come from the rear wheels. I purchased the Tesla OEM PPF for that area, so along with the front flaps I hope this will cover a lot of the car.

I don't doubt you're experiencing those issues, as I myself have taken my MY in for service for many issues. Since you are experiencing an issue that most people don't, I think a service center appointment might be in order.

I dunt recall exactly what they did, but i'd say it's obvious that if the rear seats won't fold, Tesla needs to fix it.

Yes, given the dozen or so mechanical, electrical, and assembly issues I have already had, Vegas would say smart money is that it was bad off the assembly line. Tesla had already sent me an estimate for about $700 to replace and balance the tires.

Your 349 Wh/mi for two bikes on the roof are right about in line with what I get with two bikes on my roof when I'm on the highway at 70-75 mph.

I drove down to the showroom that told me there should be a gap between the driver's seat and the center console to look at the MY they have on display. Turns out, that one also has the driver's seat compressed against the console, so I figure it must be norma.

Is it normal for the driver’s seat to be compressed against the center console? The passenger’s seat doesn’t do this. It makes such a loud rubbing noise each time I get into and out of the car, that I think the p/u leather will soon wear away at that spot.

That might depend on where you’re driving. On LA freeways, if I set it to more than four car lengths, people tailgate, swerve around and cut in front of me.

According to Car & Driver, the MY has 4" more rear headroom and 5" more rear legroom than the MS. When you add in the more upright seating position, the MY provides much more space. My son is 5'6", and he can comfortably cross his legs in the back seat.
