Cause I drove it for a year for free. Also wanted a different color - MSM this time. 19" wheels better for us and we got the 7 seater. Not to mention all the updates that took place in a year - heated steering wheel being #1 on that list. I ordered in July before the recent (several) increases.

and if this really happens, I bet Tesla raises their prices a substantial amount to "take" some of the rebate.

Received my VIN today. It's a 2022. Processed payment and insurance. Now I need to sell our '21 quick!

Oy - mine changed today back a few weeks to 11/16 to 11/27. The latter part of that range wouldn't be great since i have to fly out to NYC to pick it up.

Wouldn't you know that our EDD got moved today to 12/8 to 12/31. Good advice again on waiting for a VIN before moving the current vehicle!

Just got pushed out 10 days. Now 11/8 to 11/22. Given I'm selling our current Y to a Carvana type place, I wonder if it's safe to sell or should I wait for a VIN.....

I'm only basing it on my experience last year. We took delivery on 11/1/20 for a 2021 MYLR. So I would think similar this year - last week in October yields a model year shift.

Moved a little sooner over the weekend - 10/28 to 11/7. I'm good with that time frame as I think it'll yield a 2022 VIN.

We currently have blue MY (delivered 11/1/20) but have a MSM on order. Lots of blue Model Y's around here. Have only seen one MSM. Getting standard 19" wheels this time around.

Well my EDD moved from "October" to November 9 to 29th. Bummer, but I guess it'll be a 2022. Last November 1, we picked up our 2021.

Sounds exactly like me. But here I am 3+ months in looking really hard at switching to an MME. The Y's shortcomings are starting to drive me crazy. I don't have the road trip need that you do though - we'll just take the Raptor. :)

Yes, checked pressure when the temps got colder and before driving. I don't do this daily of course but am pretty confident with the current PSI in the tires. Thanks for the tip - we'lll keep experimenting. All new to us....

It was clear - might have been a bit of wind, which is fairly standard this time of year. Tire pressure at 42. Radio on, seat heaters typically on the 2nd level. The range drop we have experienced has been pretty consistent with multiple trips taken.

I have had good luck with the system on my current and past Fords (Explorers, Mustang and Raptors). If anything it can be too aggressive.

That's what I do now with the quick push of the button. Annoying though.

You might be right about the MME. I'll be watching those forums to see how it's going. My point is really that I now "get" the drop in range in cold climates and will pick the vehicle for that trip accordingly. We'll be using our EV (whether it be a Y or if we move to the MME) closer to home...

I got my VIN last Wed. - crickets so far... being in NY, thinking it'l be a few more days to hear. My advisor thought end of October when I last heard from him prior to receiving VIN. He said for home delivery add 3 weeks.

Have never heard for such a thing. Is it something to do with your state and requirements? My agent got me a card the day after I got the VIN so that I could upload on Tesla.com. Charges don't start until I take delivery!
