Not sure if it's different in Houston vs. Austin but I had to do my title/registration at the local county office/assessor rather than DPS. Don't want you to make an appointment at the wrong location.

I believe this has to be done in person. I set an appointment prior and the entire transaction took me less than 15 minutes. You can buy alcohol on Sundays starting SEP 1st :)

You'll pay taxes when you go to register the vehicle at the county office (usually a month or so after delivery is when you receive paperwork/title from Tesla).

You both are technically right lol. But if you look at the vehicle configuration purchase agreement, the line will say "Long Range All-Wheel Drive Performance". So the Performance automatically inherits the Long Range AWD nomenclature but also adds the Performance designation. Hope that makes...

Haha, not surprised. Car has been for sale for months. This guy used to spam his FS ads all over the FB Tesla groups. Anytime someone asked about the accident history or why he is selling at a massive markup (used to be higher btw) he would delete his posts.

Just had PPF, tint, debadging, chrome wrap done.

Just picked up my car from Austin Detailing and they did an awesome job. Had the following done: full front end PPF + rocker panels, chrome delete, debadge, tint all around. Would highly recommend them.
