Is it copper wire?
Also I know the instructions say 6 awg wire is sufficient. However I know a lot of folks that have used 4 awg wire and I haven't heard anyone with 4 awg wire have any overheating issues/3 red light issues. I would try to re-wire it if possible. If it's less than 2 years...
yes colder weather in the Ohio region affects range especially during the winter months. I'm interested in see what people are getting in range driving 70-75 mph for trips.
Well I sent my delivery date for June 16th. I received txt from a Tesla service advisor who answered some questions like what tires were on it, but they ignored my question about what was the build date twice. I'm thinking it's not even built yet and expect to see my delivery date pushed back.
I just placed a order for the model y on May 29th. Today I looked at my app and I have a vin assigned with a delivery date of June 13-17. Does this mean someone reject this one? I’m fully expecting this date to get pushed back.

Here is the link from tesla regarding the battery warranty. Are you saying this information is not correct?
https://www.tesla.com/support/vehicle-warranty
I get 250 when I charge to 90%. Tesla will cover a battery is if degrades to 70% in less than 8 years. Currently I don't think you would qualify since it doesn't look like that battery has degraded to 70%.
Anyone else having issues with Netflix crashing mcu2? Netflix freezes the screen and then you have to reboot manually or sometimes it reboots on its own.
Anyone else having an issue with the falcon wing doors and trunk not opening fully. These doors no longer open fully in my garage since updating to 2021.4.3. I wonder if they changed something with the sensors?
Anyone else having issues with autopark on 2020.44.10 I’ve never had issues with autopark while my model x pulls into the garage. However now halfway though pulling in it tries to make a left turn into my other car.
Thanks for the info, I didn’t think that eap and full self driving was that much different currently. And who knows when it full self driving will come off beta.
anyone know how performance of full self driving/eap is different when going from hw2.5 to hw3?
Has anyone upgraded from enhanced autopilot to full self driving? Is it worth it? Current running hw2.5 so with full self driving would get hw3 with the full self driving purchase.
Yeah this warning also popped up for me too. I don't think it will even allow you to download the update anymore to prevent the problem with the 12v battery.
It was a bad cabinet. I wish Tesla would have a message that alerts you that you're charging on a bad cabinet with reduced speed. I went to a different location just now and supercharging worked just fine.
So I got the warning that the 12v batter needs replaced. Does this limit supercharging. I’m at my usual supercharger and I’m on charging at 57mi/hr. Also it will not auto park anymore sine the warning came up.
I recently installed a gen 3 wall connector with 4awg with the same idea to try to future proof for a gen 4 connector. So far we have not run into an issues with it running hot. Hoping we get lucky and it stays that way, or maybe the 4awg is the way to go for the gen 3 wall connector.
If the unit is reaching 90 degrees celsius that's a problem. the electrical wires running to the wall chargers are usually only rated to 90 degrees celsius.
I've see two reports of the SC giving people a $600 discount off upgrading to MCU2 when MCU1 is failing. Wondering how many people have been given this discount since most treads say that they have not been offered a discount.
That however just defeats the purpose of buying a gen 3 wall connector when you can just use a use a nema 14-50. So basically you're paying $500 for a wall decoration.
