These are Awesome rims !!!! I bought a set recently. If you need new tires, the rims are practically free !!! I priced new tires for my Turbines and decided Arachnids with new tires were a better choice. Improved range, slightly more comfort and rim is stronger than the Cast turbine wheels.

Next year isn't that far away, I think it might be worth waiting for.

I think you did really really well, my car is also a 2017 P100DL with 23K miles and every single option including FSD, iit is in excellent condition with new arachnid rims and tires and MCU2 upgrade with HW3 and I only got a offer of 49k at carmax, haha im afraid to see what they offer me at...

Yep, no worry about the rocks chipping or cracking your windshield or all the dings in your hood, the extra mileage will be well worth it !!!!

People who buy P100D often have rewarding jobs that cant be found everywhere. Its not like working at Mcdonalds and Walmart and moving to a closer location. The higher paying jobs are more limited in availability and often not as close to home as one would like.

I have a Model S and it is pearl white metallic....it needs 2 different paints, the first is a base coat and the second contains the pearlescent stuff.......it doesn't hurt to find a piece of metal and scrape it and then practice your touch up skills. Im referring to a piece of painted scrap...

Have not checked on pricing recently but it seems for a couple thousand more, you can have the entire car wrapped.

I would go with touch up paint.....Direct Touchup has a great kit for pearl white paints.....the gouge looks deep but primer will build that up easily. Next will be a base coat (3-5 layers is ideal ) and then 1-2 coats of mid layer and finally a few coats of clear.....it will still be there but...

Have you tried scheduling yourself for the MCU2 upgrade through your App ??? I believe that they have stopped sending out email invitations. Your car is eligible for a Infotainment upgrade.

I just went to "Service" in the App and typed in Infotainment upgrade MCU1-MCU2 and HW 3 upgrade

I received a new MCU2 at SC in San Francisco last Thursday, they had no problems getting the part and service appointment took a couple weeks to schedule.
