This is pretty frustrating; SC asked me to drive by to detach a connector to prevent the battery drain issues (even though they had previously told me they left it unplugged). Now even with it unplugged, I am still seeing a 4% battery drain overnight. If I do some napkin math, this would equate...
They told me that I am able to: open the trunk with the screen/app automatically, but will only be able to close it by manually pressing the physical button on the trunk lid.
I just got back from getting the retrofit done and I was told AFTER the installation was completed that there was a firmware related issue and that they had to keep something unplugged until a fix was deployed for HVAC related issues. They did tell me that they would send someone out to "plug it...
Just received the FSD update earlier this week and have been testing it out here and there. I'm quite impressed with the significant improvement in the visualizations on the screen, but FSD has scared me half to death a few times. Some common things I noticed were:
Steering wheel jerks and car...
Thanks for the comment @holmgang.
So Tesla said that they would fix it for me as a "goodwill measure", but to make things more complicated, the shop that helped my apply PPF told me that it would ruin the film.... The irony is strong with this one.
It’s been 2 months since I got my red M3 and just recently had a chance to do a really detailed inspection of the paint in direct sunlight. Are these paint problems normal? Is it something Tesla will cover under warranty?
I came on to post about my own paint issue only to see this nightmare inducing post!
I would definitely at least contact Tesla to see what they can do about it.
I engaged my condo property manager roughtly 2-3 months ago and was only recently been made aware that there was not enough "interest" from residents of my condo to invest in shared charging infrastructure after they sent out a survey.
My next step has been to ask for a charging unit to be...
Thanks all. Just want to update this thread in case someone else has this issue in the future.
At the advice of the fine folks on this thread, I scheduled an appointment with Tesla and because I still have very low mileage on my car, they were able to touch it up free of charge. All is well!
It’s been about a month since I took delivery of my M3 And I only just noticed that there were some pretty severe paint chipping on the passenger door hinge.
Is this normal? If not, is this something Tesla will fix considering it was not identified during the initial inspection?
I got my car PPF and coated at the same place as Tommy (based on his recommendation) and I have not regretted the decision.
Their attention to detail for their work is one thing, but their customer service is on a whole new level.
Hey all,
A few days away from my delivery day and I’m starting to learn more about what needs to happen before that day.
With regards to the registration fee that Tesla charges $200 for... what does this include?
With my license plate sticker renewing in June, any idea as to whether or not...
I think Uncle Paul provided a potentially viable recommendation. Based on my needs, a standard 120v socket is all I need for my charging needs. My parking spot is 3 floors underground, but I do know they have plenty of fluorescent light fixtures throughout the garage.
North York, Canada (inspired by North Yorkshire, UK) haha. So pretty much the same as the States w/ 120v AC as the standard.
Based on what I've been told there are no outlets whatsoever in the garage, so I assume their concerns are around wiring + scalability if more tenants want to charge...
There are two reasons why I am buying this vehicle; 1. My current ICE vehicle is dying 2. I have a passion for technology and every other vehicle's technology feels antiquated when compared to the Tesla.
I live in a condo with a parking lot that's extremely secure so will not need to keep...
Hi all,
I was scheduled to pick up my Model 3 LR next week, but due to COVID-19 all stores were shut down. This gave me some time to do more research and eventually stumbled on an issue that started in 2017 where several Model S owners reported that Supercharging was throttled after x number of...
So close. My delivery was scheduled for Tuesday but as of today, Tesla locations across Ontario are now closed as they are no longer deemed an essential service.
Anyone manage to pick it up today?
I think there's still a little ways to go before it goes live. CanadaGoose is doing a good job in giving daily updates lately :D
Can't wait for this supercharger. Since I make frequent trips to visit family in NF, this was the only thing keeping me from buying a Tesla.
Hey guys,
I've been doing a lot of research and I'm trying to figure out exactly what the 2020 M3 LRs come with. For example:
What cables/adapters come with the car? Based on my research, there have been changes since 2018 to what adapters are included.
Does it come with mats? The SA I spoke...
I wonder what would happen to my order if the prices went up before taking delivery in April. I'm assuming the price that I agreed to would be locked in?
Sorry, I should have clarified. I'm not worried about the Coronavirus - I'm worried that downsizing your workforce from 10k to 2.5k will result in "cut corners" when it comes to build quality.
I think refinancing your loan just means that you are taking out another loan at a lower interest rate to pay off your current one (if it's higher). I decided to avoid this hassle and push my delivery date to April... now I'm worried that with the Fremont factory downsizing temporarily that the...
Had a email thread ongoing with Tesla and have been told that the rates will be refreshed in April (could go up or could go down) so I have pushed my delivery date out to see what the rates are like next month. I can't see the rates going up with the Coronavirus wrecking havoc on the economy.
Hi all,
I've had my current ICE for 13 years and finally decided to take the plunge and go for a Model 3. This is my first vehicle purchase (last one was inherited) and also the largest purchase I've ever made... so I'm a little nervous.
Any advice on what I should be looking for, what...
Ordered the my Model 3 on Wed. (Mar. 11) and got a notice today that it is in transit and will be available to pick up on Mar. 23. at Lawrence. Is it normal that they deliver so quickly? o_O
I was just quoted 3.25% on 60 months. Prior to submitting the application, my SA was saying that this rate was the "worst case scenario".
With 2 BoC interest rate cuts in the last month, I expected it to be lower especially since I have a pretty good credit standing.
