XPEL is a great product to work with -- easier than a few others. It does take some patience and experience though. And the summer weather is perfect for working with the material.

Isn't it easier to just get another set of the R187s? They can be had for 800 (or less) a set. A local shop might swap over the TPMS and tires for around $80.

Does anyone know if door handles are covered under extended warranty? I had the same door handle fail over the holidays - they replaced it (under warranty) even though it started working again.

If your circuit is fused at 15A, you can use 80% of it.... so you can charge at 12A

I've had to but center caps for a bunch of cars and the Tesla centre caps are the best deal :) The grey caps match the replike 187 wheels reasonable well.

Keep in mind that seasonal swaps on the same rims is tough on the tires and rims....

Are you running the same set of alloys for both summer and winter? Swapping tires on the same rims can be tough on the wheels (no matter how good your shop is) One thing I didn't like about the slipstream wheel is the groove on the inside that just seems to collect water/slush in the winter...

Ask them to put that in writing. I've called the service center multiple times and find the person on the front line answering the calls has limited knowledge of their policies.

I don't think it's from the car wash. Perhaps just coincidence that you saw it after getting the car wash. It's probably brake dust that has started rusting on your paint.

I have heard something like this too. However, some for some police it is 'subjective' - I guess it depends on their mood. Also, if you have a light colour interior, the tint doesn't look as dark. In Toronto, if you get pulled over and have dark tint, it's a good idea to turn on the dome lights...

Congrats. Did you put your reservation in for thre 40kwh on the day of the announcement? I called the store because I was also deciding between the 85kwh and 40kwh (and keeping a 2nd car) and the Toronto store said they wouldn't take the order...

The slow chargers might only attract the retired Tesla owner who can sit half a day enjoying a coffee. :) Oh well, a step in the right direction is better than nothing.
