    Ceramic Coating vs wrap

XPEL is a great product to work with -- easier than a few others. It does take some patience and experience though. And the summer weather is perfect for working with the material.

    Powder Coating Wheels - GTA

Isn't it easier to just get another set of the R187s? They can be had for 800 (or less) a set. A local shop might swap over the TPMS and tires for around $80.

My door handle is stuck -- What do I do?

Does anyone know if door handles are covered under extended warranty? I had the same door handle fail over the holidays - they replaced it (under warranty) even though it started working again.

Charge rate for non-standard power combinations

Option 2 is definately what you'll want. Option 1 will charge too slow to be of any use. You'll see approx 240v @ 12A (which is 80% as mentioned by another member) = 2.88kW. On empty it will take approx 26h to charge your 75kWh battery..... Where you park | Tesla A Tesla Wall Connector...

    Pearson Airport 10day cold soak

I had a similar problem with my Model S - parked for 5 days at Pearson and the brakes seemed to be 'stuck'. I also lost about 50km that week. Started off really cold (around -20 then warmed up closer to freezing mid week). I was initially worried about how much range I'd lose having it sit...

    Wanted - Lease TakeOver

Do you have a range you are willing to pay? I'm sure some folks leasing might just get out a little early into another Tesla if the numbers line up. My experience with Tesla leasing is the rates aren't normally that great... resulting in mediocre payments.

    Inventory Vehicles?

Thanks. Just seems odd that all of them disappeared. Was the interest rate *that* low? I think the Owner Advisor said that 1.99% was the current finance rate but only for 100's.

    Inventory Vehicles?

Does anyone know what happened to all of the Model S inventory in Canada? There seems to have been a fair number of new inventory cars before the holidays but now there is nothing.... Did they sell everything in inventory??

Winter Tires and Rims - Canadian Availability

Are you running the same set of alloys for both summer and winter? Swapping tires on the same rims can be tough on the wheels (no matter how good your shop is) One thing I didn't like about the slipstream wheel is the groove on the inside that just seems to collect water/slush in the winter...

    Paint Protection Film Service Experience

I had mine done at Auto-links. They've done Tint / PPF on a number of my cars. I've done Ventureshield/Avery Dennison/ XPel over the years and have seen the PPFs get better. XPel seems to be very popular right now - it's an excellent product. Give John a call - I've seen multiple Teslas...

Winter Tires and Rims - Canadian Availability

Not sure what the current pricing is on the R187's -- called around last week to 3 places and the best I found was at NextMod in Markham. I work in the area so it was convenient for me. $750 (tax in) set of 4 19" - cash and carry. They don't have a tire I'll still need to run it down the...

Where are Touchless Car Washes in Toronto?

I don't think it's from the car wash. Perhaps just coincidence that you saw it after getting the car wash. It's probably brake dust that has started rusting on your paint.

Where are Touchless Car Washes in Toronto?

I believe a majority of ESSO car washes in the GTA are touchless.

Questions about window tinting (Montreal-centric, but all welcome!)

I have heard something like this too. However, some for some police it is 'subjective' - I guess it depends on their mood. Also, if you have a light colour interior, the tint doesn't look as dark. In Toronto, if you get pulled over and have dark tint, it's a good idea to turn on the dome lights...
