Are the tail lights crappy because they still fog up, or do they lack in brightness or features (not adaptive, etc.)? I've noticed the LEDs in the center high-mounted stop lamp in Model S dating back to 2012 light up unevenly. The LEDs vary in brightness. Looks cheap.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered a base SR Model Y in February, no ETA. Tesla Store says production stopped around May/June, so who knows if I'll ever get mine. I don't imagine my vehicle is a priority for Tesla, since they'd rather sell high-profit cars with $10K FSD.

Tax credit is pointless right now since Tesla (and practically all other car makers) is supply-constrained. Tesla is selling all inventory cars with $10K FSD for a reason, because they know there are people willing to pay more to get a car sooner.

Prices will certainly go up once the tax credit is reenacted. Makes sense to time this with vehicle upgrades to justify the increased MSRP. For example, replacing the MY SR with a MY SR+ that costs $4,000 more and gets 260 miles.
