That would suck if it's true. This is my all-time favorite SC site. So many shopping, dining options and it's close to work (for selfish reasons) and it's close to the freeway. Very convenient. <heavy sigh>

Just be aware that many of the non-Tesla chargers are not as dependable. Be cautious as you may be stuck if its out of order.

I'm definitely keeping my Model S P85 until it dies! Hoping to get to 400,000 miles. I test drove the Mx P100 a while back and liked it. People experiencing problems is a concern but with warranty, i'm hoping that will be okay.

So you can't keep Ludicrous mode 'on' at all times?

In addition to previous posts about small lanes, be extra careful of those large trucks with tow hitches. They stick out 6-8 inches beyond the truck's tailgate.

I'm going to say this location will be the busiest SC in SD. Close to the 5, close to nice shops and restaurants, and close to a large residential complex, and close to lots of Tesla owners.

The entire Friars Road/163 intersection is a nightmare with all the construction going on. Then add to the mix the holiday shopping traffic. Holy cow! But i'm really excited for this location to come alive!!

Any additional SC is welcome in SD ;). If anything, I'm glad its East of 5, not West of 5. That area can be a bear, especially during the horse racing season and fair season. I didn't realize who big that OnePaseo development is. Holy cow. and that's a smaller version than originally approved.

To avoid confusion, I also think this site should be renamed "Fashion Valley". The regional area in called Mission Valley and the two largest malls in the area are called "Fashion Valley" and "Mission Valley", located only 1 mile apart. This SC is located in Fashion Valley Mall. Thanks!

San Diego/QCOM has one. They recently changed the vendor/company who's providing the service. Its a contractor, not a Tesla employee.

Stopped here on the way back from OC. Holy cow 19 of the 20 spots were occupied about 4:30 on Saturday 11-20-2018. Was not expecting that many spots to be occupied. I'm guessing electric cars are here to stay ;)

IMO the biggest relief to QCOM location will come when Del Mar, La Jolla and Carmel Mountain SCers open up. Those are viable alternate locations for those always going to QCOM.

Most contractor's i deal with wants to do the job quickly and get paid quickly so they can move on to other jobs. If i was to make a wild guess the delay would be on the governmental side. Can't wait for this to come alive!

Maybe i stand corrected with exact specs but i do recall that there was an extra cost for people who chose unlimited option for $2,000.

Initially 40's, 60's and 85's could get 'upgrade' to unlimited charging for additional $2,000. I decided between 85 to 85 with unlimited charging or just pay the extra $8,000 and get P85. There were extra goodies that came with the P85 that was worth paying the extra $$.
