Car is still available. I asked the Tesla maintenance folks about the ability to transfer the Supercharging and free connectivity and they seamed confident that it would, but everyone in the forums seem to say that this is less likely, not sure what to say there.

Looks like the drive warranties have been updated on their site, and all of the 2016s are showing 2024 now... That would have been crazy if the drive warranty didn't even last the used 4yr/50k mile timeframe.

I just looked, all of the 2016 X's are showing shortened drive warranties too...

Yes, so if you buy it CPO from Tesla, your warranty will reset to 4 years from the date of purchase, and 50K from that point of purchase. Make sure that it says 4yr/50k in the description on the website, since cars with more than 50k miles will only have a 2yr 100k max total mile warranty. So...

Actually if you buy from Tesla, the warranty is not an extended warranty, but a new full 4 year/50k used warranty (the same as the original warranty). The drive warranty stays the same (continuing from original purchase).
