Was it worth the 2K for the upgrade. Did you get the full 30 mile additional range. My 2020 M3SR gets 199 miles at 100% charge, will I expect the new range to be ~ 230 after the upgrade?

were you able to get that price in writing? I bought my SR in March and tried to get an upgrade for the current difference between the SR and SR+ and they said no. Price is $5500.

Was quoted $3K initially by sales.. Quickly set up an appt with service .. then was sent an estimate of $5K .. asked why? They said the initial quote was an error. Oh well wishful thinking .Hopefully they will adjust it to $3K... easy money for tesla.

I finally got a VIN # !!!! Ordered 2/8, M3SR White/black interior 18"wheel. Payments the next step. Will call SA in the am to confirm delivery.. Yay!!

great news for you! I also ordered feb 8th. M3SR .. SA told me probably march 6th when i will get the vin. got text from tesla today, 2-4 weeks. learning to be patient is definitely a virtue.... :-)

Wonder if they would even accept payment now before assignment of VIN ?

When does tesla expect us to pay for the vehicle? Do they want us to pay for the vehicle now or at delivery. Does that make a difference in when the VIN gets assigned ?
