Its either a DDOS attack on tesla or they are running server maintenance. I have the same issue.

That is the plan I intend to use a friend's ev today to charge and if that stops too then it is definitely the zappi. I spoke to the my energi people and they are quite receptive and said try another ev and zappi v2 have had connection problems in the past.

Thanks for the replies guys. A bit more detail; This is happening during the evening time boost that I have from 8.30pm till 1.30am. Not during the excess solar time when it is normal to expect charging to stop and start depending on cloud cover.

never used those but i did go ahead and get alloy and tyre insurance with ALA. Havent sent them the 'before' pix yet because of the holidays.

I know this was discussed before but I couldn't find a definitive answer. Has anyone gone ahead and insured their alloys? Those things are sticking out of the tyres and begging to be scratched and it is only a matter of time. Advice welcome regarding who did you go with?

Did you go with ala? How many times have you used them? I'm wondering how does this type of insurance work, do you take it to them over every simple scratch or wait for loads to develop and take it once a year.

I am about to take delivery of a salary sacrifice MYP for 3 years. I am wondering whether this ALA alloy insurance is worth it. Considering the alloys poke out quite a bit and the tyre itself does not provide much cover so its about when not if they will be scratched.

That policy expires exactly after one week when my brain cells die.

I think you may be able to supercharge once. After which you'll need to pay the balance through your tesla account and you'll need to have the app set up for that and any future charging

I'm getting the car through NHS fleet solution. How will I know the reg plate of the car beforehand to give to fleet solutions so they can insure it?

They've said that cars ordered after April this year will no longer have that charger in them. I am guessing our incoming cars dont have them? But yeah good enough to wait, maybe Santa leaves one in the trunk.

I think the only perk of the Tesla one is the button to open the charging port.

My current hyundai has one too lol. But I have used it very sparingly and espcially when you may be stuck in an emergency it is better to have it than not?

I have a home charger, its a Zappi. I wanted to get the 3 pin charger for emergencies or the 1 percent of the time when I might need it.
