Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yeah it’s hard to believe that we are living through a worldwide pandemic. All the while I’m dying to get into a Model 3. You’re right, common sense precautions - stay home and obsess over Tesla in your free time. Hahaha
He said that I might get pulled over, I guess Michigan residents told him that is happening. I don't believe that, but for my own good I am not going out. I am not in a huge rush as there is a ton of inventory right now.
I spoke to a Tesla sales rep in Cleveland (I live in MI) and he said that he does not think I can legally come and pickup an inventory Model 3 from Cleveland because of Michigan's stay at home order.
don't throw away your money on a lease like that. Buy it, put 5k down and your payment is around 1k. Build equity in the car, M3 performance has a pretty decent residual. You'll end up with a lower cost/year including depreciation with the M3 vs the BMW.
Background: I (24M) am currently leasing an F-150 that goes back in July. I am currently over allowed milage on my lease so I am not against terminating my lease (and paying excess) at any point.
I have narrowed my decision to a Tesla Model 3 LR. Should I order now and take delivery as soon as...
Any idea on how long these things stay out of stock? I am planning on ordering a M3 LR in May and I am trying to plan accordingly. Do I order it next time it becomes available or is it in and out of stock often? Side note I need the long cord I know the 8.5’ is available. Thanks
I [24M] got a great rate from Progressive. I was with Allstate but they quoted me $1300/6 months (I live in Michigan, terrible insurance rates). Progressive is $650/6 months. Granted I have one other car on my policy and a home but a clean driving record.
