Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yes it depends on which model you go with, we got the SR+ and just got the 50A put in on Friday. Ours only goes to 32 amps, so we requested the 50A for extra room while also asking for 6 gauge wire (TESLA recommendations, electrician said we could have done 8g). Just put a 14-50 receptacle in...
What the flying fudge would propel a driver to leave a truckload of Tesla’s?! Good luck finding another trucking job if that gets discovered by a future employer, unbelievable. Sorry that’s happening and hope it’s resolved soon for you.
We were told yesterday, on delivery day, that everyone has premium connectivity indefinitely until they figure out a subscription “system” up here on Hoth. We still don’t have it though :/.
We didn’t get to pick but they let us adjust it to the following day, still no “delivery text” but we’ve been talking to our delivery advisor who reached out to confirm all details and is very good about communicating via email
Lol so weird, we got the date changed (our doing as something came up Fri) to Saturday, contract on account but still no VIN. I heard they were charging some dates for people if it wasn’t a confirmed day by delivery, guess we’ll see. Dumb question but
did you drop off the ownership since you...
If I had a choice we would definitely be there right when they open from what I hear with delivery stories and especially this location, could be smooth as butter or a cluster F looks like lol. Sounds like they tend to rush people, but our SA asked if we wanted to move it and said as long as its...
No, we sold it private party for much more than offered by Tesla. That was gassed months ago, not sure if that matters but hope it doesn’t hold yours up

Logged into the account for fun this morning and delivery date set for next Friday. I called and told me they are just setting delivery times and it can’t be chosen by the customer. Ok then lol
I’m completely for giving them funds ASAP when they allow us, hopefully not too many defects as we are both quite busy with school, full time jobs and a tiny monster at home, and I’d rather not have to double back to Toronto. I’m glad they have the 7 day feature but hope to not use it. Any minor...
Same here brother, although we ordered at Lawrence location three days before you. Looks like there’s a wave coming so I’m sure you’ll be in this group 1st week or two of March
I would also like to get the general consensus on proper procedure here, depending on what your payment type is I assume. I’ve read instances where people don’t transfer funds until they’ve checked out the car, while others and says it’s necessary in order to get a delivery date.
