    Autopark

Autopark on my old 4 series (2015 model) was amazing although it only did the steering - told me when to move forward and backwards on the display. Haven't been brave enough to try the Tesla yet, too much traffic to fumble around with options, need to find somewhere quiet :-)

Does the S have more "pull" at higher speeds?

Love this comment :-) - you also have to acknowledge that the Tesla(s) are cheaper, far more fuel efficient, and seat 5 people + luggage.

    Newbie questions!

Soooo...slight change of plan. I happened to be looking at the UK inventory and saw a Red S Performance sitting there, white interior with the carbon fibre and the 19" wheels. I called the showroom and they switched it to my order! Yay One point to note, if the "Inventory" is stated as...

Model S USB Type - is it 3.1?

Thanks @Ande, will save some money then :-) Expect some of the issues with corruption etc that are reported may be down to miss-match of USB 3.1 drives with the car then?

Some inventory popped up today does this mean a ship is close?

This waiting for updates is a whole new (and unexpected) level of excitement LOL. Anyone know if they assign VINs post the ship arriving or beforehand - obviously trying to piece together the puzzle which might tell me when I am going to get some new on dates! @Mr Miserable - impressive skills...

Model S USB Type - is it 3.1?

Hi, Does anyone know if the current Model S has USB 3.1? I am looking to buy an SSD for the Dashcam feature, I don't want to splash out on the faster USB 3.1 variants if the Tesla only supports USB 3.0. I had a search on the net and forum but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

    Newbie questions!

Thanks @SilverGS - appreciate the feedback. I went for a Grey (Dark Silver!?) Model S Performance, it's new. Presently expecting (hoping!) for delivery in March but if they call and say it's earlier I won't be complaining :-)

    Newbie questions!

Oddly is it about the same price in the UK as we get a contribution from the government but only if the device is certified for it (Tesla isn't cartified, Andersen is).

STOP!!!!! I know!!!! LOL  RS6 is totally awesome, just wish it was 5 years ago when I'd have simply jumped in it and driven off in the sunset

    Newbie questions!

Main reason is cable management, the Anderson effectively hides the cable whereas everything else seems to leave it draped over the unit itself (which the Anderson actually does but hidden inside the frame). I've checked with Andreson EV and they say I won't need an adapter to charge the Tesla...

    Newbie questions!

Yup but I couldn’t get comfortable driving a big V8 for the next 4 years, to say it was a wrestle with my conscience is putting it mildly!

Newbie questions! (posted in the wrong folder!)

Here we go Hi, I took the plunge on Friday, cancelled my RS6 order and ordered a Model S! Found myself feeling more and more guilty about V8 turbo repercussions so test drove the Tesla and was really impressed, definitely some sacrifices (mainly interior look/feel and engine sound) but all in...
