You're correct - in theory! I haven't been able to drive my "grounded" 2013 MS since May 29, as I'm still waiting for a replacement CPU1, with no estimate from Tesla as to when it will be available! Way beyond frustrated!

Akikiki - we've communicated before, my 2013 MS has been in my garage waiting for an MCU1 since early June. If there's a cue of 70, any guess as to how fast they are being produced? Will the MCU2s will be compatible to the 2013 year soon?

When did you report the MCU1 failure and how long before it was repaired? (I've been waiting six weeks now!)

I have a 2013 MS with a dead MCU1 - been waiting for 5 weeks for a replacement! I was told by a Tesla service rep that an MCU2 wasn't compatible with my car???

CONGRATULATIONS! Meanwhile, my 2013 MS with only 44,00 miles has been grounded in my garage for 5 weeks waiting for a new/remanufactured MCU1 infoscreen!

I have an MCU 1 that failed on June 3, replacement ordered June 8, still #@%$# waiting for the part to be shipped, then installed!

Thanks, Fred, yes, mine too; and the optional "pearl white" is such a beautiful color! I also had my car pinstriped - back from the headlights to under the side mirror , and from the side signal marker back to and over the back door handles and then meeting in the back accenting the logo.

Aloha, DGP, you're right, US 550 is probably the most beautiful road in CO, through the "Colorado Alps"! I had an unforgettable trip there in '04 with the Mile Hi Cobra Club, as part of a 1000 mile club drive from Denver to Durango and back. I hope to do it again sometime! Mahalo!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful images, when I lived in Denver, one of my favorite trips was to the Aspen Fourth of July Parade via Independence Pass in an open air sports car.

MORE PICTURES FROM BEAUTIFUL MAUI - I took these Ho'okipa beach ocean pics on the way to last week's shopping trip to Costco and another one behind my Kula house in front an an orange trumpet creeper plant.

Five have sold on Bring a Trailer Tesla over the last 2 1/2 years for the mid $40's. I suspect that as more time passes, Roadsters in very good condition and low mileage will bring more $. Remaining battery life will be the big question?

I've had my MS since July, 2019 and have greatly enjoyed every trip. Since the lockdown (we can still drive to the grocer's), I regularly take "the long" way to and/or from shopping. I'm not driving as much as before, which makes every trip more special and enjoyable.

Congrats CableZL, your smile will be visible every time that you're in the car! I got my MS last July after a 16 year love affair with a Camaro Z-28 and many performance cars before that. I don't drive much anymore, but look forward to each and every trip in the MS! Best wishes, Kula Guy
