Yes , I could raise the trunk higher but then I had to close it manually. Now it opens and closes completely the way it did back in 2017!

Update: Tesla Service had to reconfigure and recalibrate the powered trunk / liftgate strut. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Now it works great , Opens like previous. So no more possibilities of head trauma or concussions 🤓 Thanks everyone for your help.

Thanks, I retried setting the trunk but it will not calibrate to the higher opening. “If the liftgate loses its calibration when opened, the liftgate chimes three times and does not move. To restore calibration, manually pull the liftgate down to close it.” So I think Tesla Service is my next...

I may have missed this in the discussion. In real time can I see whats going on around my car since it has built in WiFi? Example: In store shopping. Car parked way-way-way across parking lot. Whip out the smartphone see whats going on around car. Tap Tesla app to turn on the A/C to cool it down...

Got the answer from XPEL "We have many customers that have taken their car through automatic car washes and it was okay. It will not void the warranty on XPEL. Although, if your car is not fully wrapped with XPEL ULTIMATE, you may have to worry about the swirl marks on the non-wrapped panels."
