They should be able to see it this week. I'll be taking it in Wed or Thu morning. I'm still wondering if they'll be able to trim it or will have to re-do it. Some of the edges have peeled off all the way around the edge so if they trimmed it, the edge of the film would be on the top of the panel.

Not quite yet, might be next week. The film installer is out this week and possibly longer. They did offer to let me bring it in for a wash though but I figure I'll wait to do it all at once. It's getting a regular wash in the storms anyway (and then getting gunked up with pollen and tree debris...)

Actually ended up driving past there today, unexpectedly. Lots of activity, lots of busy workers. Didn't get to see the chargers and what stage they're at but the building is coming along, glass is in and outer brick decorative surface is almost complete.

It's currently with Dave, there are some delays with staff working reduced shifts to look after their families. It sounds like he takes good care of his team.

You'd definitely have to match the loan term as well. The rates vary depending on the length of the term so it wouldn't work to compare a low-rate short-term loan with a long-term loan.

I think it depends on the bank Tesla are going with. I was told I'd get a check for the difference, they were funding the loan through Wells Fargo. Was an awful rate so I went with Next Mark (formerly Fairfax County Credit Union), 2.99 compared to 4.67.

I never got any response from my SA so I just called up the DC and asked them. Got a lot done through helpful people there.

Nope, VIN in source is the first appearance. Tesla definitely doesn't get in contact with lenders except for the bank that they do their own loans for. I had that same problem, held up one of my applications for a while but they didn't end up being my best offer anyway.

If you're picking up at Tyco, you can do what I did and make a tentative booking for a pickup. The guy I spoke to said they won't be certain of the delivery date until they load it onto the train about a week before it arrives. He gave me a broad estimate and I booked in for Friday the 13th...

Will do! My experience so far has been great with plenty of flexibility with Tesla's ever-changing delivery dates and my own financial position (wedding coming up...) Dave has been really friendly and understanding, I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do!

I got that same text last week. This week I got a new text saying they expect it'll be "ready for delivery" in 3 - 5 weeks. I'm not sure if that means it'll be ready for delivery from the factory (so same as "built") or ready for delivery from my designated pick-up point.

Do you think "ready for delivery" means it's ready to be picked up or that it's ready to leave the factory?
