It's definitely where the clear plastic was there to protect the badge during assembly and delivery. Mine was still installed when I took delivery. I don't have that marking, however, but it's most likely some remnant of the low-tack adhesive they use.

I don't know if the center caps on the aero covers come off, but you should just drop the $50 and get the lug cover set that Tesla sells as it has both the center caps and the lug nut covers. I greatly prefer the look of the wheels over the aero covers. Efficiency be damned.

Ordered 11/25, got the delivery text this morning like a lot of people and getting delivery on the 28th. My delivery will come 4 weeks and 5 days after I ordered. A 12/11 order might not make it by the end of the year since I think they stopped "promising" EOY deliveries for online orders...

OK. I don't get this. According to the Tesla site, there is a new car for sale EXACTLY like the one I ordered on 11/25 sitting LITERALLY 4 miles away from my house at a service center (Blue/Black, 18", autopilot). Just emailed my SA to say WTF.
