Actually yeah, I guess the Enertia Plus is only 10999, and is comparable to the Zero S and DS.

Now that I have taken the class, I don't think shifting would be all that bad either, except the Brammo bikes cost even more than the Zero DS that I want. I don't think the wife is gonna go for that :)

Well, I finished the "first step" to getting my endorsement. Just passed my MSF course today and got my card. Tomorrow I will call the DMV in my home state and get the ball rolling :)

So far, the only game to have the Model S is Gran Turismo 5? Thats lame. The Roadster was ok in Most Wanted, but it wasn't accurate "physically" (as in Physics). That was unfortunate. Hopefully, in GTA V, the Roadster has crazy fast acceleration. I would also like to see electric motorcycle...

I asked the On-Base Housing office If they could install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for me, and they still haven't given me an answer. That was 3 months ago. Its not looking good. I decided I am probably going to wait on getting a Tesla until I ETS, and I will get an Electric Motorcycle instead.

Yes, I looked at the Empulse. I actually WANT the lack of shifting. Plus, the Zero is a bit cheaper. If I end up getting the "itch" I may start a collection of bikes.

I am going to get a 2013 Zero DS. My commute is very short, and it will be just a fun transportation everyday. Plus, it doesn't snow much here, so I can ride to work all year. Im psyched.

I have stock in Tesla without driving one as well. I was originally going to buy stock when it was @ $50, but ended up not getting in til it was $120. I don't see it ever getting back down to $50 though, so its all good.

Wow, the eneloops were price fixed? I mean, $2 per AA battery really didn't break the bank for me... And they are still totally operable (I bought them back in 2008). Oh well, I seriously doubt this will have any effect on Tesla's operations.

Well, I guess I want the practical car in this equation then. We are a one car household at the moment, and I am stuck driving my wife's 2012 2 door Toyota Yaris. When I have to "floor it" I HATE the loud engine at that point because it makes people look and see that I am driving a Yaris haha...

Anything requiring the internet to update. Google Maps, Slacker Radio, Internet Browser, Updates, using the phone app... Of course when they update and allow Wifi connections, you wont be totally SOL.

I would just use my iPhone as a hotspot for the Tesla in that case. I highly doubt its going to do much to my datacap. Plus I get hotspot use for free because Im on a family plan. It would cost less for me to just up my data by 2GB if I even needed to.

The ONLY reason I use the cd player in my car (mp3 cd) is BECAUSE it doesnt have a USB port. No one needs a CD Player in this day and age IMO.

Well, from what I gather... GARMIN functionality, with 7 years of map updates is only on the Tech Package. The only workaround would be to use your mobile phone to get turn by turn directions... I could be wrong though.

I am totally getting the Green paint. I love the fact that it looks black in certain circumstances. I have not seen a green color on a car that I have liked, ever. This one I like a lot.
