Black was my second choice behind ultra red. Red just pops when clean. Next up getting my windows tinted.

Hey @acopower you should answer your support email. The Model X version doesn’t come close to properly fitting and mine gave a compressor error and died 2 days after installing it. I need a refund.

Damnit, this thing doesn’t even come close to fitting properly. Plus mine gave a compressor error and started beeping and is completely dead now. I’m asking to return it.

OK I just took delivery of my MXP with cream and it’s fantastic. Love the two tone with cream vs all black I’ve had in my Y and 3. Absolutely worth the upgrade.

I had to provide articles of incorporation and 2 bills addressed to my corporation at the address. This was hard because my corporation address is not our main office which….gets all of our mail. But this was Indiana requiring it.

I just went through this with Tesla and be prepared to provide more documentation than normal.

Took delivery today, car is perfect other than the plaid emblem is cockeyed. I'll do a service request for that. Car drives fantastic, everything opens and closes appropriately and the FWDs don't bang on anything. Car came in Sport mode by default so I put it in Plaid mode and hit the go pedal...

I’ve had black in both my 3 and Y and now I’m getting cream in my MXP. Can’t wait to see it.

Damnit, got a call from Tesla yesterday stating my car was a day late so I am picking it up on Tuesday instead of Monday. I’m at a conference locally so I’m leaving for a “long lunch” to get the car.

So that’s not how charging works when traveling. You drive the car down, charge for 15 minutes or so, then get back on the road. I’ve put almost 50k miles on my Y in under 2 years driving all over the midwestern US for travel sports and work. At worst it adds 20% more time to a trip, not twice...

This isn’t specific to Tesla. Every local dealership service center has this exact same experience from what I’ve seen lately. Local Kia dealer is a month out for anything beyond recalls. People are keeping cars longer and dealing with servicing them vs buying new.

Ugh I have the Acopower in my Y and just ordered one for my X. I did get $250 off so maybe it will be worth it. I take delivery of the X on Tuesday this coming week.

Oh yeah. Delivery was to be on Monday but they pushed it back to Tuesday. Can’t wait.

This is very true. A bunch of houses in my neighborhood had hail damage and State Farm fought them on replacing them. After the work was done, State Farm dropped all of them. Fun times.

The difference on the website is 9 miles range difference. For an extra 400HP that seems worth it.

My wife has a 2022 Kia Sorento hybrid. Nothing about this ownership experience is good. From buying it, to getting it serviced, to the many recalls on it already. Dealerships are slimy and always trying to upsell her whenever she brings it in for maintenance or service.

Possibly but who knows. When I placed my order at the SC the rep said he figured I would get a VIN within a week because it was an MXP with a few upgrades on it.

That's my concern about accepting local inventory.

That's interesting so I hopped online and saw a MXP similar to mine also "arriving soon" but it's definitely not my configuration. Kind of strange to just have random MXPs in inventory.

Got my VIN today, EDD #1 May 6-13.

I ordered my Y back during Covid when prices kept going up. Took 4 months to get my car and about 2 dozen EDDs with price increases every few weeks. Luckily they didn’t raise my price to match. I just couldn’t change my order at all, otherwise I would get the new price.

Good to know. I currently own a Y and have the Acopower but am getting an X soon and want to get a new fridge as well. Love this thing for travel sports and bringing food with on trips. It’s absolutely paid for itself in saved $ from meals.

What’s interesting is that a I have a MXP on order and my order sheet reflects this price drop.

My local SC has a blue MXP with the cream interior. It’s fantastic looking.

I was in the same boat and said “F IT” and bought the Plaid. I wanted towing and 6 seats anyways so it was an easier decision. The tough part was they had a blue one in inventory that was exactly what I wanted, except I wanted red. So now I wait.

I just placed my order for a MXP today so that means the seats, camera, and lighting will come out the day after I take delivery.

I’m waiting for a price drop or revision myself. I’m not in a hurry. Looking at a red plaid.

Are you sure about that? I’m looking at the IRS website and it states “The maximum credit is $7,500 for qualified vehicles with gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWRs) of under 14,000 pounds and $40,000 for all other vehicles.” There’s no limit on cost, just on the credit. I’m citing this page...

I got this when it was on kickstarter for about half that price. It’s ridiculously good. We’re travel sport parents and always have a case of water and some gallon jugs of water in the cooler. Keeps everything nice and cool. I’ve also used it to keep growlers of beer cool as well.

So drove the car for an hour (2x30 min each way) and the creaking is kind of gone. Still aggravating that a car this expensive has this many issues.

I just found this thread as I’m dealing with this with my 2022 MYP. I already had the seat replaced once for the issue. When I brought it in initially they tightened the bolts and said it was good to go. I sat in it, drove around the lot, took the service manager with me and they brought it back...

I'm sitting here at the SC for the 4th time regarding this issue. They denied me on visit #1. Visit #2 they replaced the rear drive unit. Visit #3 they denied me again, and now I'm on Visit #4. Apparently Tesla has sent them a device they need to place on the arm rest and they drive the car...

Let me know how that works, I tried sound deadening insulation and it didn’t do anything.

I’m 6’5” and the roof gets HOT and my head starts sweating. Not as bad as the windshield, but I’m definitely putting some ceramic light tint on the roof to keep the sun from baking my brains while I drive.
