I had my pains dealing with HOA also, but like many mentioned, inside your unit you can do whatever you want.
In your case, it seems you definitely need approval from HOA. Not sure how they will meter the electricity you use from this new feed.
I am no lawyer, but from previous experiences with...
it's not much, i supercharged 3 or 4 times already, and both maybe from 50 mile range to the 220mi range, cost is about $15.
i have submitted a complaint to HQ to see what happens since Buena Park didn't want to help out much.
but imo, cash back is best
i didn't get the credit until today. it shows under vehicle details' "Supercharging status"
it really doesn't add to much, i had to supercharge a couple of times already, and each time it would only cost between $10-20 max depending on the starting battery level.
Tesmanian floor mats in 2020 M3
I was looking to buy the Taptes too, but since the comments aren't the best in this forum decided to buy the Tesmanian one.
Price is around $110 with tax after 20% discount, and even though I am not a fan of the logo, I figured i can live with it if it offers...
so finally good news for me. I got the text everyone was waiting for and took deliver of M3 today!
we didn't qualify for the Referral Credit, but at least we got the car now.
good luck everyone!
dang, did you ever get a text to set up delivery by EOY but got canceled?
i ordered just a day after you and same vehicle, still getting the run around of free supercharging (1 yr)
yeah please share!
we ordered dec 3rd but they are saying just free supercharging for 1yr, which i would find BS if you were able to get the credit also! nice job!
at least you getting more info from BP than i do. It's always one way too for me, but i went last Tuesday and they had zero info.
i have never seen them busy, always seen the advisors lounging around in the computers
1yr free is not bad , but when we placed the order on December 3rd, the site did say order by dec 8th and will get car by 31st.
Not sure how they decided this cutoff date for who gets rebate and who gets something else.
Same thing. If they were more honest on when we getting the cars, and if there is different compensations for missing out on the rebate then make it official and announce it on paper so people dont feel left out (say getting 1800 back vs free supercharging)
Cars shouldn't take that long to make...
anyone has a screenshot of that delivery guarantee when ordering by 12/8th? i can't find my copy of it.
also, noticed that if you load the site on mobile phone, it shows Buena park Tesla for me.
but on the computer, it still shows 2-4 weeks after order
yeah that's the main thing, if there's nothing in writing they can easily say that was never said.
Buena Park is telling us that there was no guarantee that car would be delivered by 31st when the website and the SA repeated that several times.
It seems Burbank and costa mesa had been more open for everyone.
Thx for the tip. I have mvpa with vin so I ll chat with them.
@praxis220 I was told the same that they have no visibility to stuff
i think i am talking to the wrong dealer! they aren't very helpful
How did your SA help you find a car? talked to one SA today from Buena Park and he didn't event touch the computer to look at my order or cars because apparently they have no visibility at anything (according to him)
do you have any confirmation that they will cut you a check on any document or MVPA?
talked to Buena Park today, and they said nothing will be offered by Tesla for missing the rebate.
granted this dealer hasn't been the best with communication and all
Which dealer did you spoke with about this?
It's nice tesla is thinking about compensating for the missed deliveries, but wished there was an official release about this
it would be great if Tesla discounts the cars for those that missed out, but until it's official release from Tesla or unless the MVPA gets updated with new pricing I can't believe it.
so far Tesla sales people haven't been very open nor honest, so let's see if Elon helps out those who couldn't...
I have MVPA with VIN 'assigned', today in the View Source page i see at string for "YourVinHasChanged"
Couldn't find any posts with this string, so wondering if anyone had their VIN changed and if that means production just started, or if it's back to square one waiting for a car
When i did EECU i got the 1.99 but they said it was promo until december 31st.
It might be a little different now but may be good.
there is a link above showing the 1.99 rate
it's true, i guess the expiring credit gives people the push to buy if they were debating.
you did it proper in ordering your 2nd one in July (but delivery in November)
I think for the 1st time Telsa owners we didn't think that it would take this long to purchase a car.
The whole Tesla process...
1800 cash is huge, 1800 tax credit is a promise that may not be fulfilled unless you owe tax money
agree with @ucmndd though, if you are spending 45k on a brand new car, you should budget for the hiked costs that comes with it.
like buying a performance gasoline engine that gives you 10MPG and...
that's 2 of us man, i was feeling confident that they will deliver since it's essentially a guarantee. But i have no delivery date so i gave up.
But will this stop me from buying another tesla if i really like the M3? heck no
Tesla was over confident in trying to deliver all these cars by EOY...
early december the order site showed something like 'order by dec 8th for guaranteed delivery by dec 31st'
but it's always easy for companies to over promise and not deliver, while consumers usually have hard deadlines with financial consequences if passed.
potential savings is garbage tho, the...
for the price of the M3 and the features it comes standard, it's hard to find a comparable competitor.
But if you are looking hard at the M3, it probably means you either really want it, or you looked around and found that others aren't as good or don't offer similar features at this price range.
i think that's the main thing, paying less for taxes feels better
but agree with @Atomic1der, there aren't many Electric cars available now that has the tech and design M3 offers
did you guys choose to have your car picked up in Fremont?
wonder if we can change delivery location to the Tesla Factory if it guarantees delivery by 12/31
