It might be a result of they way you have your insurance setup. The deductibles, coverage, etc. Unless you have any accidents or points on your record.

So I called Tesla and they set my delivery date for Thursday from 2-4pm (home delivery). I was hoping to get it before Christmas :( I'm gonna call them again tomorrow morning to see if they can squeeze me in tomorrow.

Ok good, I was trying to get my insurance set up and didn't want to send the incorrect VIN.

I decoded my VIN and it says that it's "C = Base A/C Motor, Tier 2 Battery (31-40 kWh)". This is from Teslatap, my assumption is that the decoder isn't updated, but can someone else check their VIN on there to see if it says the same thing?

Also, I’m setup for home delivery. The guy said that as soon as it’s done, they’ll load them up from the factory and deliver it straight to my house. Which is kinda neat, but I also wanted the experience of going in to pick up my car. Either way, I just want my damn car!!!!

I called Tesla to get an update. They said my car would be finishing production Sunday night and would be ready to pick up on the 26th. No VIN yet, so maybe tomorrow night?
