Thought this would have sold by now?! Only known OEM piece in the country and it is still sitting for sale? If it were me I would probably Ebay it to get more exposure.
I believe once they made the transition from Production from Signature they got rid of the foil type "fun house" mirrors. Now the question is what would people be willing to pay for them? The investment in R&D would be quite substantial. The only way I can come up with to get them lit is with a...
Genius! But really I was looking into making one with a bend 2/3 of the way down with about a 45 degree angle in it so that it sits more flush. And that is towards the windshield. IMO it would protrude out to far if angled towards the driver and stored in the original position. Like most have...
That's too bad. After doing quite a bit of measuring that seems to be the only way. Unless some type of hinge was built in to lower/extend it a few inches.
I have folded the mirror straight forward before and it seems there is another 3-4" of room before it would make contact with the windshield. So the stored position would be folded forward as opposed to in the headliner. It is adequate for most average/tall people but if your on the shorter side...
Would be an easy/direct install using original mounts. Have heard the same thing from Tesla again with no ETA and no details on if the mirrors will actually have a light in them. Thanks for the feedback!
On to the next "idea". Seems one of the huge complaints is the sun visors in these cars. How many would be interested in a)Longer and Wider Visors b) A real mirror without distortion and c)Actual lights in the vanity mirror? Will have them covered in the same materials as the matching...
Agreed and thanks for the feedback. After looking at costs an 8gb would start at $20 up to a 64gb at 40-$50 they would be sliders,, come with a keychain lanyard like everyone's fob should have, and eventually come in the color to match the car.
Great thanks for the feedback!

Right. I haden't considered the amount of space it would protrude from the console. Thanks for the input.
Hello all,
Have been a long time lurker and enthusiast. No reservation yet but hopefully in the near future. How many people on here would be interested in a USB stick that is made to duplicate the key fob to access your car. Would be shaped the same(minus the logos for copyright...
