Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I was able to contact TuneIn technical support. After giving them several examples of exactly when the programming was behind cut off by ads, I got this email:
"Thank you for patiently waiting. Our developers confirmed the ads issue you are hearing on these stations and plan to work with the...
As of now, there are no updates that I am aware of. Tesla was wrong in eliminating the ultrasonic sensors without fully testing the summon and parking features with vision only. They still advertise the enhanced autopilot with these features. Short of filling out formal complaints with your...

I agree there are plenty of Superchargers for travelers, but I would not call it superfluous with the Immokalee and Bayfront Superchargers frequently showing a 5 or 10 minute wait.
I was disappointed again today when I drove by. No construction has started. The only glimmer of hope is that there was much paint and flags marking the underground utilities.
Drove by again on 1/3. There is no sign of work having started and no supplies or construction vehicles on site. Very disappointing! This has been in the permitting stage for over a year!
I drove by today. There only construction is the planting of trees and shrubs in the parking lot along with some island work. There were no signs of supercharger station construction yet. I believe the supercharger construction is on hold until this other construction is completed.
I would think that like the other service centers they would have only destination chargers. These could be used by the public if they're willing to spend the time waiting for a charge.
LOL! Call me am optimist, but the roof is almost done (not apparent on the photo) so the remaining work is interior and paving/landscaping. There are over 3 months left. I can see a November completion. Thanks for the info!
It has been a while that this has been in the permitting stage. Does anyone have any status info through Collier County or through the Pine Ridge Crossings shopping center?
Based on what just happened, it seems buggy. Just started a trip, battery at 95% and planning to stop at a supercharger 1:30 away and the pre-conditioning came on. Outside temperature was 50 deg F. I submitted this as a bug report, because this just can't be right!
It has been a month since the last post. What is taking so long with this charge station? They started construction on it around November 2019, so it had been 9 months. This baby is ready to deliver!
Got my Model 3 back today, VIN 144xxx. The service center said to allow 2-3 days because the firmware often requires several attempts at installation before it takes. The only thing wiped out were the bluetooth connections. Very impressed with the new FSD visualizations!
Thank you for the information about the connector. Do you know where I can purchase one of these? Everywhere I looked except the Aptiv website either didn't recognize the part or had none in stock.
