I agree it doesnt hurt to just be safe with disconnecting the 12v battery as it takes maybe 5 mins to do. I maybe the exception with my computer shorting but would hate for someone to have to deal with the hassle. In my personal opinion, sound dampening the trunk did help quiet down road noise...

No sound from door, rear and subwoofer speakers. Failed part is the A2B channel on the main computer. Fix is to replace the whole computer.

What year is your car? It should be covered under warranty.

I had similar issues with my subwoofer/rear speakers not working. Actually tried a different amp from another car- still no sound. Tesla determind that my A2B connection was shorted. Fix is to replace the main computer--out of pocket about $2k.

Service tech says moving the subwoofer/amplifier caused the computer to short. Computer needs replacement- not covered under warranty. Just a PSA--please disconnect your battery if you plan on moving your subwoofer.

So total to repair is about $2k. Computer = $1,500 and labor is $484. Expensive lesson learned--make sure you disconnect the power if your moving the subwoofer. Parts are not readily available. About a month out.

The method to do a hard reset was easy- less than 5 mins to do- but no luck in getting my sound back.

The order agreement price and mvpa price didn’t change for us when he moved us over to the inventory item. Not sure if will change when we get the final docs.

Our price did not go up. The matched inventory was the same price as our original reservation. They actually also removed the FSD that actually was listed on the car.

Thanks everyone for posting the inventory on the Tesla website.. I wanted the roller coaster ride to end so I called our sales department to move our order to a car with less than 500 miles with the exact same spec we wanted. Goodluck to everyone else looking to pick up a car this quarter.

Adding to my 2 cents. I also relied on the forums for information of when the stealth were available and when delivery was happening. My service adviser only matched me to a stealth after I emailed. I proactively called my DC center when I saw people in the area were getting appointments for...

Called the Fremont delivery center. Scheduled to pick up my white stealth at 10am this Friday.

Go to the main tesla page..then click on existing inventory. There should be a chat box icon that opens up in the lower right hand section. You can then chat with a rep.

Try doing a chat with tesla then they will likely give your information to a delivery rep from Vegas. That's what I did.. received a call after 15 mins.

I called the delivery center and says I should be getting a delivery appointment by early next week. I switched my order on 11/20 from AWD to Stealth with 19 inch rims.

From what I'm told the cars are in preproduction--not yet built.
