Haha you got me! Yes, I picked it up yesterday at lunch time. I've been too busy enjoying the car to take pictures (in fact my first picture was this morning). I'll post some pics maybe later tonight. I LOVE IT! I've test driven it before but driving your own is just a whole different story...

Just wondering, have any of you gone on a factory tour before/after taking delivery of your car in Hawaii? I will be in San Jose for the next week and reached out to my Delivery Specialist Ciaran to see if I could join in on a tour or at least visit the factory. Do you folks think they would let me?

gmtom1, Ciaran is my Delivery Specialist as well. He is really helpful and responsive. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly for my delivery in the next couple weeks.

I don't know him well, but the person you are talking about is Henk Rogers. A really nice guy! I do know a Tesla Roadster owner that probably lurks this forum. If we do have a more public meet, I can reach out to him/them. Keep us posted on the route you want to take (pun intended).

Argh...it's still at the port. Well, at least it's not at the factory and is waiting patiently at the port. I'm guessing it's in a container or something so there's no internet connectivity. My friend was able to track it by GPS to tell me where it was. Thanks for all the support folks!

From what I'm told, the law allows 70% on the windshield but stock windshields already register between 70%-75% and adding any of these films will generally result in failing the safety check. As usual, it depends on how strict the stations are and whether or not they notice if you have a film...

My Model S is ready to be shipped but I don't think it will make it here by the 28th! Hopefully they can get it on the boat this upcoming week and I get it just in time. Would love to participate in the first Hawaii Tesla meet. *fingers crossed*
